Small Room for rent - Dyker heights. -950
Hello all, I’m seriously new to reddit so I’m hoping this goes well my roomie won the housing lottery and is leaving which is ironic because since i met and moved in with her i felt like i won the roomie lottery with her being so dope haha. It’s sad to see her go but we must move on.. hopefully someone out there will be able to help continue the dope vibes and chill home atmosphere..
This housing situation here in NYC is a total fawkin crock is it not ? My god.

Secondly be somewhat tidy. Don’t care bout your space but the common areas for sure. I’ll say that again at some point I’m sure
Internet is free because I’m not going to get nit picky bout it.. i use the hardline but i also pay for the strongest wifi we can get which makes it so that 4 people can be using it heavily without a problem.. id mention 5 people if i could but we never tested that many. It’s really quite good if you work from home..
Electric and gas have gone up a bit so we split that and are sad n either case doing so… gas sucks during the winter and electricity sucks during summer.
located in Dyker Heights Brooklyn, it’s a Very 420 household and would prefer someone who also appreciates the 420 vibes because i make an absolute ton of edibles and tinctures and we’ll pretty much any version of it you can think of and yes of course you’re welcome to have a bunch too, if you’re not 420 indulgent then take some for your friends.
idc lol. We have a small 3 bedroom apartment just a few minutes away from the N train as well as laundry, food and grocery stores. Rent is 950 and we split utilities… the only thing i really care about aside from rent being paid is there are no dishes left in the sink and we keep the common areas clean.. idc what you do in your space as long as its not hard drugs. Other than that do whatever tf….
I don’t touch peoples food or property and i keep to myself. The most you’d hear out of me from my space is “BUT I HAD FULL PLATES HOWD HE KILL ME SO FAST ?” Lol… although i love a good party, this house isn’t suited for one unfortunately. Guests are fine with me however as i said you probably won’t have many due to the space being on the cozier side.
In the 9 years here with my roomie, she and i have not had any problems with the landlord or people in the neighborhood. We had one package thief when we first moved in that got one or two but they’re LONG gone and the neighbors seem to respect our shit and also the downstairs people will also bring in packages and leave them in the hallway and we typically do the same.
Our neighbors are very kind and welcoming.
We aren’t allowed pets unfortunately.
Bottom line yall, i just really need a new roomie starting in June ish July. Happy to send pictures and exchange info to meet up and check vibes and all that. Smoke a J maybe ? Lol
