My partner and I are planning a trip to Victoria (from Seattle) in late October. Due to work commitments, we probably can only do this on a Monday (maybe staying one night). She’s concerned about whether there will be enough shops and restaurants open on a Monday and at that time of year to make the trip worthwhile, and I have no way of knowing…

Tried asking the internet but with Ai only too happy to make stuff up, I don’t trust any answers!

So I ask the good folks of Reddit instead - is it worth it or should we plan on a summer and or weekend trip instead?
