Grilled peaches

Great easy desert to cook on the bbq. Cooked them face down for a bit then flipped and sprinkled some cinnamon and brown sugar on top and continued to cook them until they got soft.

Served with ice cream and crumble. Really really good and so simple, especially that this can be done with the dying charcoal at the end of your cook.

Have done the same with apples before

Smoked featherblade

Tried a smoked featherblade/flatiron the other day. Apparently is a great brisket alternative, but I've only smoked 1 brisket and a few brisquettas to date, so can't really say if it was better.

Came out very juicy and tender. Will definitely order this again!

Asado style cooking

I've got an itch for an asado style bbq, mainly want to do a piece of meat on an asado cross.

Saw kadai do some nice bowls and an asado cross to go with it.

What other options are there?

Got a galician rib steak hamper for a friends Birthday and got myself one too.

The beef was extremely tasty but as it comes from old dairy cows. Cooked it to 48c then let it rest, but next time I think I will take it out at 43-45 C as the rarer bits near the bone were even better tasting.

Tried some grilled romaine with a caesar dressing and it came out much much better than expected for some grilled crispy water 😁
