Can't reach bird message
When I'm feeding my different birds, at some random point I start getting the "can't reach [birdname]" message. Is this intentional? What does it mean and how does it work?
Closing and reopening the app doesn't work but after playing a training game it does.

How do you "adopt" a new bird?
At the daily challenges, it says adopt a new bird. Is there another way, besides getting gifts from levelling up, to acquire new birds? Because otherwise it's basically impossible to get one every day.
