Currently, Find Tags relies on text matching, which often fails if file names or ID3 tags are missing or messy (leading to empty Genre/Sub-genre fields).

It would be amazing to have an audio-based recognition engine (like Shazam, Google Sound Search, or ACRCloud) built into "Find Tags."

Instead of guessing from file names, it would listen to the audio waveform to identify the track and pull accurate genres, artists, and titles automatically.

Would love to see this on the roadmap!

Issue:

When I edit the Title field of a track in Lexicon and select "Write Tags", the changes appear saved in the Lexicon UI. However, as soon as I hit "Reload Tags", the title immediately reverts back to the original metadata from the file including genre- energy everything.

Troubleshooting steps already taken:

• Verified macOS permissions: Lexicon has Full Disk Access granted.
• Tested on both an external SSD (with "Ignore ownership" checked) and the local Desktop — the issue persists on both.
• Closed all background DJ software and media players to prevent file locking.
• Checked Mp3tag on the exact same files: Mp3tag can write/modify tags without any issues, so the files are not read-only.

It seems Lexicon is not physically writing the modified title tag to the file's ID3 chunk. Is there a specific setting or toggle for tag writing that I might be missing? Any help would be appreciated!

When you open tag screen of a song or mutli songs, tag seacrh section is not wrking. You can not enter any criteria in here. Does anyone facing the same problem.
