Extremely frustrated and perplexed as to how this happened. Apprently they sent it on the wrong flight as it was last scanned at an airport I did not fly to.

I was traveling with someone else, whose bag was also gate checked. Theirs was returned but mine was lost. We handed them over at the SAME time. How did they lose my bag?!

I honestly feel like the gate agent at American Airlines in Lexington, Kentucky maliciously lost my bag.
