Minecraft is fundamentally a boring game and has completely backwards progression, especially for causal players

Before you get mad, hear me out.

I'm not talking about those youtubers who have put thousands of hours into minecraft and gotten bored of the game, I'm saying that minecraft survival mode is fundamentally boring and has a completely backwards progression system. Maybe the experienced players don't understand this.

The main gripe I have with this game is that it DOESN'T reward exploration, making it super boring to play. When you enter a world, you have to dig down to get iron. Without iron, it is basically impossible to do anything worthwhile within the game (more about this later). However, iron is so rare that you have to mine through hundreds of blocks to find a couple pieces of iron ore, so most of your time is spent digging and avoiding monsters. Unless you have the wiki open in a browser, you wouldn't know which layer iron ore is most abundant, and even then, iron is relatively rare.

Once you get to the middle game, you have to spend your time making farms, or else you have to be ready to spend hundreds of hours getting loads of resources to progress in the game. You end up sitting in one place tending to a mob farm just to be able to craft the late game items. You aren't exploring anything.

Progression in this game is completely backwards as well: the start of the game is harder than the end of the game. Sure there are bosses that are difficult, but the core gameplay becomes so much easier once you have iron/diamond armor and weapons. Most games give you upgrades as you go, but the game also becomes harder because of these upgrades. Minecraft's mobs stay the same difficulty no matter what, so at the start of the game, you are avoiding all the mobs, and once you get iron armor/weapons, the mobs become way too easy. Mobs aren't even worth fighting because you'd need to kill so many to have enough resources to do anything.

Imagine making TNT without using a mob farm. You would need to kill a MINIMUM of 5 creepers for ONE block of TNT. If you want to use a bunch of TNT for mining, you'd have to spend multiple hours just killing creepers.

I think there are a few fixes that would make the game better:

  1. make iron ore as abundant as copper or have one iron ore block drop like 10 iron ingots
  2. make the enemies gain health as the game progresses or change up their ai so they don't have the EXACT SAME MOVES EVERY SINGLE TIME. Once you get diamond or enchanted armor, the enemies should swarm you, evade your attacks better, and be harder to manage. Or maybe the number of enemies that spawn increases each night that you are up to make things harder.
  3. Defeating the ender dragon should also make enemy mobs mad, creating chaos in the overworld, and increased rewards for protecting villagers against this chaos.
  4. Give me a reason to explore besides finding a slightly different block aesthetic. The same block should have different properties based on the biome you found it in. For example, maybe jungle wood has greater resistance to fire but splits in half when it rains, and pine wood burns really easily but is more resistant to water effects.
  5. Large ships that actually float.
  6. Wood should rot over time unless treated with oil that you can only craft late game.

Two questions: Vitamix and a mortar and pestle

The vitamix with the stainless steel attachment is considered to be the only plastic free option for a blender, but are there any cheaper alternatives? It is sooooo expensive. Also, does the attachment prevent any food from contacting the rubber seals?

I considered buying a mortar and pestle, but apparently some of them use EPOXY RESIN to seal in the cracks of the stone, so you have to seek out one that is "untreated." Any recommendations for that?
