Is anyone else having this problem with the app?

So I start a song, get about halfway through, and then the song just stops and I get a popup saying that the song couldn’t start. Then I can leave on my computer (which is the screen I use) but not on my phone, every time I click “end song” it says “are you sure?” and then wont let me click yes. I’ve checked my internet, that’s fine on both my phone and computer, I genuinely have no clue what’s going on or how to fix it.

Do doctors actually tell you to lose weight or is that just a common myth?

This is a very stupid question but I feel like I need an answer. I am by no means thin, plus I am a woman, but I have never had a doctor not listen to me or tell me to lose weight. The only people to ever tell me to lose weight were people in my family. I feel like I hear all of these horror stories about doctors not listening to their patients and it being really serious but that has never actually happened to me. Hell, I had appendicitis while in my period and I was still taken seriously by doctors. Is it just a vocal minority of people with bad doctors? Or have I just been extremely lucky?

Why didn’t older people wear shorts under skirts?

Randomly remembered this conversation from back when I was in fifth grade, and it got me questioning things. Every girl in my class and I agreed that wearing shorts with a skirt is common sense since something could happen and you wouldn’t want to show your underwear. My teacher at that time disagreed with us, asking why we would wear a skirt in the first place if we were just going to wear shorts under them (weird thing to disagree with elementary schoolers about). But we as kids thought it was good for modesty, comfort, and fashion. But it’s apparently a more modern concept because a lot of older people I’ve talked to about this agree that shorts are not needed if you’re wearing a skirt. I get that way back in the day skirts were longer and there wasn’t as much worry about accidentally flashing people, but since the 60s a lot of skirts basically just cover down to your crotch. Why would anyone be against shorts as a fix?
