Lorry stuck under bridge in Devon, UK 20th May

Bridge on a road between Ipplepen and Kingskerswell, 10ft 6in restriction under the railway. Minor road but used to access a local quarry (aggregate tippers have no issues) however an accident shut the A-road and this is one of the few lanes that can take HGVs. This is the uphill side of the road, so as you approach the bridge from below it does appear to be a decent way above you.

I went this way later on after the lorry was freed (pic is from Facebook), it was in a layby just before the bridge with a police car in attendance, I didn't see what damage had been caused but will review my dash cam footage at the weekend.

Double-decker takes a wrong turn, Coventry.

Mercifully, no-one was on the top deck at the time. For reference (and Matt Parker fans), the bridge's posted height is 12'9" or 3.8m.
