16 PM to 17 Pm?

Hi,
I know this is kinda insane because most people would say just wait but
I’ve noticed recent heat issues, it’ll get hot faster, battery will die sooner, lags a bit,
my only “want” for waiting for the 18 i want the dark cherry color.
I don’t mind the orange, I did read that the 16pm was 4600 something mah vs 5 something on the 17?
I just want peoples opinions, like I said my only reason to wait would be for the color, if the 17 is the same as the 18 then I don’t really mind

iPhone 17 Pro Max Cosmic Orange discoloration

So obviously this has been all over the place the past 6 months since release but never thought it would actually happen to my device (yes thats on ME, should have been smarter with putting apple care on it). This isnt covered under limited warranty which is shocking, has anyone else been through similar?

Also worth noting I spoke to apple support and they sent me to a store which was a waste of time. They saw it and said it’s not covered. Basically good luck.

Edit 2: To the Poroxide comments, who has peroxide laying around like that? If it's in a cleaner, that's absurd to discolor a phone (I'm not talking about wiping a phone down). If it's on a table that is being cleaned that happens to touch it indirctly, that to me is an Apple problem.

What cases everyone rocking?

Right now, I’m using the Ridge matte olive case after switching from an Otterbox Defender XT. In my opinion, it’s definitely a nice, sleek case.

First day with iPhone 17 pro max.

Hi everyone, I’d really appreciate hearing about your experiences.

This is my first iPhone and also my first experience with Apple in general, so there are still a lot of things I don’t know. I already finished setting everything up and transferred all my data from Android, but I’ve noticed that the phone gets pretty warm while charging even when I’m not using it. I’m not gaming or doing anything heavy.

I’m using a Belkin cable and a 65W UGREEN charger.

Is this normal? I mean, I paid around $1500 for the phone, so I wasn’t expecting it to get this warm, especially since I bought it mainly for gaming and recording videos.

I’d appreciate your opinions and experiences. Thanks!

Upgraded from iPhone 12 to 17 pro max all thanks to my mom🫶🏻

I was really frustrated with the battery issues and storage problems that started in my 12, my single mother, despite getting hesistant at first, trusted me with a pro max and said “next time after u have finished college, buy me the best one then.” Hope I fulfil her wish next time 🙌🏻

I have a 13 Pro Max. Should I change to a non max since I got an iPad mini?

I was gifted an iPad mini. The max seems similar in size almost. Does that make it redundant? Would you recommend when I upgrade to a 17 or 18 to get the non-max size? Has anyone else been in this situation? #firstworldprobs thank you!

Iphone 17 to Iphone 17 pro max update

Hi, i just bought the iphone 17 two weeks ago and the battery life is completely horrible. I am now thinking of upgrading to a pro or a pro max. Mainly for the battery. Does anyone know if the battery upgrade is worth it (pro or promax) or has anyone had similar issues with the 17

Is it worth it to upgrade my 13 pro to the 17 pro max now?

I’m going on a lot of trips and concerts this summer, I would wait for the 18, but it’s coming out after all the events I have planned :/ The biggest reason why I’d want to upgrade is the camera. Honestly the camera on my 13 pro is okay, but I was wondering if there’s a significant difference in camera quality between the two? Especially the zoom for taking videos at concerts, is there a big difference in the quality?

I’ve had this phone for 4 and a half years now, the battery isn’t terrible and in general everything is still good, only thing is I’m running out of storage (I have the 256gb) and sometimes my phone will freeze and lag while scrolling or typing but it doesn’t happen enough to bother me.

The 17 pro max also costs a pretty penny, and I’d want to get the 512gb so it’s an even prettier penny lol, is it worth the price? I’m grateful and lucky that money isn’t a big issue, but it’s still a huge purchase.

If the difference isn’t huge or noticeable between the two then I’ll just stick with the 13 pro, but I’m not very good at making decisions when it comes to technology so any help is appreciated!

Camera Issues

Hey hey! I’ve had the 17PM since last October, and I have found that it takes awful pictures with the front camera, as well as the back (in iffy lighting). I had the base 13 before this and was so much happier with camera quality in all lighting. It also doesn’t like to take close up pictures without the micro lens on (it won’t focus on anything, it’ll just stay blurry). If someone can give me some guidance that would be great! Thank you :)
