Just saw for the first time and loved it, but I’m surprised they didn’t show Elsa & her brother saying goodbye.

I feel like they missed a really cool opportunity when Elsa was being taken away by her father to pick the spot where she’d die and the family would settle, but not showing a goodbye exchange with her little brother.

Especially because early on, there was a conversation between him and his mother about Elsa’s personality and his mother said it’s her spirit, and when he asked what a spirit is she told him it’s what drives you.

They could have utilized that to tie it in to a goodbye scene where he may not have understood what it meant in the moment, but it could have been a profound and impactful scene that added a layer of depth to the meaning of spirit and connect that concept to his sister.
