N55 PWG with MHD stage 2+ not hitting target boost!?

Just wondering if this is normal, appears i’m 3-4 psi below target boost. i replaced the boost solenoid as it was throwing a code for plausible boost pressure too low, the code is now fixed but i am still not hitting target boost. What could be the issue if there’s even an issue at all? any help would be appreciated, here’s the data log. https://datazap.me/u/predictable135i/logs/cmpeqnsdz000bl206jzec1t69

Unchavving my car

When I bought my 2017 1 series it had these terrible stuck on M sport grills, and black centre caps, I finally have removed the M sport sticker on the grills and changed the centre caps back to OEM blue 🙏🙏

First 1,000 miles covered in my 2JZ 8HP E82

Been forced into dailying my brand new build, 20mpg isn’t great but being an auto makes it weirdly relaxed to drive until you put the foot down! ST XTA Coilovers and M performance brakes are on the way as the 120d suspension is not loving life.

Brake bleeding

Recently did front and rear brakes and fluid flush on our 2011 128. Pads rotors up front and just pads in the rear. Have tried bleeding 3 times now and still do not have a firm pedal feel. First go was quick 2-4 iterations with a helper in the car on each caliper and not really in sequential order. Did again using 1 person method in sequence and a third time using helper again. Helper on 3rd iteration was my 14-year old daughter so possible she lifted. A little frustrated. Was reading that maybe some air in abs. I did not let the master cylinder run dry so should not have been an issue.

Do I need software to cycle the ABS while bleeding? It looks like I can do this with Bimmerlink. I tried downloading and getting INPA working on old laptop but having connectivity issues.

2009 135i

Hey guys I’m back, i appreciate the feedback on my last post here and to avoid it. But I have another 135i I found.

2009 135i 6spd Manual, white exterior red interior. Completely stock and 77k miles. Owner states lots of preventative maintenance done and possibly has receipts for them. Looks pretty clean and is asking 12k.

It’s the only stock low mileage manual transmission around me available so I’m really interested. Lmk if this is a solid buy!

What have you done to your 1Series this week?

A post to share anything you've done to (or with!) your 1er over the last week. New parts, maintenance, detailing, road trips, track days, anything else you can think of.

^(Mod note: testing something here. We might be a bit too small to really sustain these posts weekly but figured it's worth a try. Feedback welcome via) ^(Modmail)^(.)

As promised, color matched parts and a fresh wash

Color matched (it's ok but I kind of want to redo it) grill trim and performance style spoiler. I'm a little disappointed with the spoiler fit but what can I expect from cheap aftermarket.

diff bushings

Does anyone know if I can fit the M3/1M bushings onto our cars? I think these would be a perfect upgrade without introducing much, if any, NVH. Recommendations are appreciated.

I've been doing some research looking into the different options for replacing/upgrading the diff bushings on the E82 and Im not too sure what to go with! This car is my daily that sees some occasional spirited driving on secluded roads, maybe a track day or two in the future.

There are other options such as Poly or solid bushings but I'd like to avoid going too stiff unless anyone has experience with softer Poly bushing options.

Double Trouble 128i

Who else can say they’ve owned 2 6MT 128i’s at the same time, what a sight.

Still need to replace the wood trim in the black one.

Thoughts on the black interior with beige side trim?
