Looking for Nerf Bar Cover

Just bought a 2006 tundra double cab and it came with one of these side step bar covers missing, wondering if anyone knows where I can find a matching replacement without replacing all.

I need suspension recommendations

2002 AC 4x4 4.7

my leaf spring is bent a bit, I’ve been thinking about lifting the truck about an inch or 2 whatever is viable/better for my needs. I’ve been looking around and noticed the ATS set for medium duty looks good and sounds about right for me, id prefer not to spend over a thousand on the leaf springs alone but i have seen the Archive and Deaver ones (are they worth it for me?) i only haul dirtbikes/4 wheelers nothing crazy heavy with maybe a trailer pull in the future for vehicles, I was thinking about this kit from 1stgenoffroad (link at bottom) with the OME 2884. I was wondering if the professional strut assembly’s with new strut mounts were worth it or not. same with the 1/4 spacer to adjust for the driver lean. i just want to weigh other people’s opinions on what they would do. Any help is greatly appreciated

Suggestions for my 2002 Tundra?

I recently inherited this vehicle from my grandpa who bought it brand new in 2001. It has a lot of sentimental value to me. I want to make it into something special for relatively cheap (I’m a college student). Any ideas like a lift kit, leveling, wheels, etc.

Check that belt

Here’s your sign to always assume that your belt will look like this if they seller “doesn’t know” when it was last done. Feel like this motor was moments from meeting god.

400 mile round trip this past weekend.

400 mile round trip last week for a 5 day camp trip, brings the ole Tundra to 431k miles. Longest tow for the year so far. Hitching back up in a few days and taking off again.

Should I get a leveling kit?

'05 V8. I'm having my mechanic do tie rods and lower control arms. Should I have them do a leveling kit while they're in there? I'm not planning on changing wheels and tires, but I figured since they're in there, the labor would be less than having them do it later. Edit: Corrected Typo

Crank no start

2002 Tundra SR5, auto, 4.7, RWD.

Parked truck Friday after work. Get in it today to run some errands and it cranks and cranks but won’t start. Battery voltage was a little low at 12.3 but it was cranking like every other day. Has gas in it. I tried listening for the fuel pump but I never could hear it before today and couldn’t hear it today as well. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I bought a Tundra with rolled back miles

In March a bought a 2006 Tundra for 7k with supposedly 187,6xx miles. I unfortunately ran the Carfax recently and was devastated to find that the last recorded mileage was 311,433 as of September 25.

Has anyone else had this happen?
Any advice on what to do in this situation?
How worried should I be about future resale or further investment in the vehicle?
Does carfax ever get things wrong?

2006 4x4 157K Miles for $14.5K - should I buy?

Hi everyone - wanted a 4runner but came across this today.

2006 4x4 V8 157K Miles for $14.5K
- timing belt and water pump and radiator and thermostat have been replaced a week ago.
- fitted camper shell
- 4LO 4HI works
- Darrel waltrip edition

-a slight spot of rust on the frame

-brake pads screeched a little at first

- A/C knob needs to be replaced

- small dent

- odd paint area

I did a little research and it seems like these are really sought after trucks. I'm new to the tundra game and ultimately want a 4 runner but i feel like this would be a good truck to have for now.

Car spent time in FL and Idaho.

Is $14.5K too much? Also can anyone tell me if there's anything wrong in any of the photos?

After little before and after leveling the rig this weekend

I went with Bilstein 5100s with the OME 884 springs set on the lowest clip setting.

Tires are 265/70/17s on some cheap 17x9 rough country steelies.

Thoughts??

I'm moving from USA to Canada in a year or two, so not the best idea for me to buy a truck, but I just miss my old one sooo bad. Seems like a sweet project.

Brake Booster?

Hey y'all. I've recently had thing on going, high pitched noise coming from my brake pedal with the engine running. Is this a faulty brake booster or something else?

How did I do? First tundra!

Held out looking for an 05-06 double cab limited. Snagged this 05 with 250k for $5700 in Utah. How do you think I did? Needs a few minor things here and there but think I will be in less than 6500 all said and done!

Wheel bearing press

Anyone here done a wheel bearing? Seems like you have to press it out rather than put in a new assembly like my 4runner. If you do have to press it, do you have to use a pneumatic press or would a large c clamp style press work?

Truck won't start until I turn my keys 3 different times. Anyone else ever experience this?

After attempting to start the truck 3 different times it will finally fire up.

Battery terminals look clean

The first 2 times I try it does a partial turn over.

The battery seems strong and getting charged by the alternator, but maybe it's not charging it enough.

Any tips or advice would be great, but I'm afraid the starter is beginning to fail
