So I just finished watching Overlord The Sacred Kingdom as well, and now along with all four seasons and the movie, I’ve completed the entire series until future seasons come out. I can understand why they decided to adapt this specific part of the story into a movie, it was largely a self contained story, and it was quite funny too, like that arrow scene, and the ending actually shocked me!

It's just that at the start of the movie, I thought we would see Ainz at the center and get a really cool fight scene, but that wasn't the case. Most of the time, that girl named Neia was at the center of it, and in the second half, Ainz disappears altogether. For the final fight, I was expecting some mind blowing action animation, but even that didn't happen. It's not that I didn't enjoy it, I definitely did, but my expectations were just different. I was also missing the other Floor Guardians of Nazarick, but alright, it was fine. The animation was the absolute best so far, and I really liked the music as well. Overall, as a side story, the movie was good and funny.
