Feels like our whole day now is just cleaning up small laptop problems before they turn into bigger ones.

Today was basically:

Printer vanished again for no reason.

VPN stopped connecting on two machines.

One laptop hadnt restarted in forever so updates were stuck.

Another had almost no storage left and the user thought it was just slow.

None of this stuff is even difficult, it just never stops. Half the time we dont even know theres a problem until somebody messages us right before a meeting saying their laptop is freaking out.

Starting to feel like keeping track of devices is becoming harder than fixing them sometimes. Anybody else dealing with this all day too??

I heard some stories about people losing documents after a WPS Office update or uninstall and want to make sure I understand how WPS Office handles files before that happens to me.

A few questions. Does WPS Office store documents in its own application folder in a way that could get wiped during an uninstall or update or are documents saved to standard user folders that are untouched by application changes? Are there any WPS specific file locations I should know about where important data like templates, autosave files, and backup files are stored that could be at risk during an update or uninstall?

And what's the safest way to make sure everything is backed up and recoverable before doing either?

Hello everyone, I'm trying to repair my mother's laptop which has multiple software errors with harmful applications and unofficial Microsoft versions, not long ago I discovered that the laptop does not turn off completely and continues to collect data from the Internet to the point of finding connections and folders with documents from my Apple and Android devices, Samsung network adapters, etc., even Edge has automatic logins which I can't delete or pause, it won't let me reset the computer or update to a reliable version, could you help me by explaining a little about what happens with the laptop and what I could do to fix it?

I want to contact them to give them my email, and only communicate by email from then on, with them.

I do not talk on the phone, it stresses me out. I don't want them to have my number.

Yesterday I recorded a video of type Hybrid-MP4 using OBS. After making a few edits in Premiere Pro, I turned off my Windows 11 PC normally and left my office.

I woke up today and reopened the Premiere Pro project, and to my surprise, I found the "Media Pending" error for my video file.

After trying different ideas without success, I decided to delete Premiere Pro caches. Now the error became clear: The media was missing. I checked the video file and found out that it has 0 bytes.

What could be causing this issue, and how can I recover my two hours of footage?

its 4am and some son of a b hacked my Microsoft account! when i try to access my gmail it says it no longer exists! will they have access to my laptop?? please help

I've been struggling with this laptop as it flashes 2 amber and 3 white lights; indicating no memory in the laptop. In addition, the laptop only shows the Dell logo with any attempt at spamming a Fn key to go into the BIOS doing nothing. What do I do from there?

While installing the backup files from a windows 10 pc the screen went black and all attempts to reboot or restart failed.

Any suggestions? I’ve tried everything Microsoft has offered.

No response from my new HP laptop.

Good Day everyone. Please help me with the new Laptop I got that is causing me problems.

The Brightness does not want to change on my Laptop, neither does the night light mode want to work. It is not greyed out I can toggle on and off, adjust the slider, but nothing happens.

• Its as Packard Bell Laptop (Senna-R5)
• Processor: AMD Ryzen 5 3500U with Radeon Vega Mobile Gfx 2.10 Ghz
• Ram: 16GB
• Storage: 512GB SSD
• Graphics Card: No dedicated VRAM
• Windows 10 Home 64-bit

I see that everywhere, like at "this PC" Properties, dxdiag, display adapters, all show I have Microsoft Basic Display Adapters, probably because I have no Dedicated VRAM. I have tried in many ways to update the Display Drivers as well.

I just want to lower my brightness and have the Laptop run to its fullest potential. Please help. Thank you.

I need help, I'm quite shaken, I was eating while doing assignment when I grabbed for a soy sauce and like a a tea spoon dropped to the screen, I turned it off after finishing my assignment but then I checked the tips on how to clean it and I panicked, I mostly cleaned the side, but it got in the tiny crevices of the laptop I did use paper to floss them out but I'm not sure if I got them all, although it wasn't that much I got when I did flossed them out, for now I put it in a tent shaped but I don't know what to do.
