He finally reached semi-mainstream stardom and took time to tour the fuck out his album. Also he’s busy producing music for others. Also doing interviews, music videos , creative designs, photo shoots. The guy has to sleep too lol.

His next release will probably be 2027 which will be the first 2 year gap he ever took, which is normal for most artists on his new-found level.

I understand the fans love him. I love his music too. I saw him live on the Star Tour San Diego. But even I’m a fan enough to understand his situation.

What if I told you, it’s the fans fault he can’t release music, not the label. You guys made him famous and in-demand. If he was lil Sound Cloud Hollis from back in the day, he’d be dropping at his leisure.

But since the fans want him around the world, he’s busy touring and has a management team now helping him balance his life.

Also considering he’s growing up and turning into ManHollis. It’s a sensitive time for ANY young adult. Boy or girl, famous or not. Leave him alone and give him time to become the artist he’s destined to be.

How do you guys not realise the byproduct of being a musician signed to a label such as interscope is to delay music a lot? It's the single most effective way of generating hype and interest for the artists music. When he was indie, and I know a lot of you can recall, he was dropping music left and right, posting on social media all the time and what not.
When you guys are posting on here, or wherever, about how he just never drops music, keeps scrapping stuff, edging everyone etc. just remember you guys are doing exactly what the label wants.
This might've come off harsh and I do not mean to insult anyone, just a thought experiment

seen him twice at a show, loved his work pre star but it’s been like a year since he did anything interesting, seems like eversince he signed to interscope he completely adopted the standards of the industry. i’m not trying to hate on him but his 2022/2024 run was insane while all we got in a year was dogs which is eh at best and fly on soundcloud only

i miss when he did stuff like qiyoku even though it got scrapped, i miss the breath of fresh air of 2, boy, whiplash and cliche, even gold

im not gonna blame it on him signing to interscope but i don’t think we’ll get something more interesting than star for his next project

again im not hating on 2hollis, he’s one of my most streamed artist but it feels like his musical career completely stopped after star

Im losing hope, he(2hollis) announced however many weeks ago that he wanted to start the rollout, with the story saying okay let’s start this, and him talking to himself from the other account and then it has been nothing but silence. i wish he would’ve said that and then posted the release date or something. it’s been over a year I think without an offical release and then he posts that god awful girl remix with Ken Carson, I js want music honestly and I want this guy to not cancel the album like he’s down the past 2 times we’re currently 0 for 2

for context, i'm a 5'2 girl who goes solo to shows, and i just want to know if im being annoying or not 😓

i saw 2hollis live during the star tour and LOVED being in the push pit, but then all i see online is people saying that the crowd is horrible and rude and doesn't know how to act... and then i also recently went to a local hyper pop show and joined in a moshpit with the only circle of guys who actually looked like they were getting turnt enough... and then they left and i hear all the girls around me complaining about them, so i'm starting to wonder about if im the problem lol

i mean... it feels like such a waste to just sway to the music at these shows, but when i bump into people while jumping around some people seem annoyed with me... but ngl im annoyed with them because why arent they dancing lmao

and omg these boyfriends give me the death glare for doing anything more than a gentle side to side next to their gf 😭😭 nonmoshers at these shows always make me feel so unwelcome and i struggle to understand because if it ever gets too much for me, i move out of the center, but idk maybe im missing some self awareness and am actually a horrible person to be next to at a concert

Hey guys just wondering who else is coming to all points east this year for Hollis. Saw him in Brixton at the star tour and have realised how much I underappreciated it so I had to go see him again. Just seeing who else is pulling up as everyone online who's going seems to only care about Lorde and pink and zara
