Work in progress Liber Commander
Going for simple and clean. Enjoy that song-bomb.
Need to finish the cape and halberd.

This sculpt really grew on me over time. The weathering is just layers of sponged on metallics.
I'm not allowed to have free will with 30ML 😆
There were even worse creations but I only took pics of these. I still have two more skeletons to put together!
Continue to use nail polish to detail up
Thinking of making this guy a dark wizard but breastplate doesnt fit him, as he has one hole in chest versus two. Any job changes that will fit these guys completely?
With so many options out now, which kit is everyone finding to be their absolute favorite? And which kit has been a bit lacking compared to the others? I know this is a moot point if you plan to kitbash extensively.
I’ll start:
Favorite: Liber/Rosan knight. This kit is the first one so I may be biased, but out of the box it really has that Dark Souls knight feeling to it that I love.
Runnerup favorite: Liber/Rosan Fighter. I love the bulkiness of this silhouette. It’s a real standout for being slightly shorter but wider than the others. Lots of kitbash potential too on the stocky frame.
Least favorite: Rosan priest. I really wanted to like this kit, but the weapon options and the theme overall has left a bit lackluster. The unique mono eye face place is cool. But the Liber priest had a better face plate imho.
Runnerup least favorite: Rosan/Liber Swordsman. Thematically gladiators don’t seem to fit with the rest of the kits, and I’m not the biggest fan of their armor. The faceplates on both Rosan and Liber are dope however. But with the new meteoric kits coming out, I can’t help but feel the line is going in all different direction for mass appeal. Nothing wrong with that, but personally I’m just not the biggest fan of this kits stock armor options.
What does everyone else think?
The cape looked bad, I maybe will change it to fabric after repaint the kit 🥲
Took some photos of my Samurai and Spartan
Used gundam paint marker for panel lining and borrowed the sword from SNAA Percival
Desided that my backlog was slinking to fast.😅
I’ve got a Rosan Archer, Liber Swordsman, Liber Fighter, and Liber Wizard with a class upgrade to go next. Gonna hit these guys with a matte topcoat, panel line the skeletons, and get a 3 piece stand for the dark mage and skeletons.
Sheik mainland 3 min project sorcerer hands and necrosknight seemed like a solid pair! Gonna add some boney parts and change up some armor but i do love the presence the hand wings gives it!
Fully loaded out it might be my favorite base armor
Really tempered to merge these two sets. Has anyone has both? How does the azure look with the commander kit on?
I have the armour still to go but I am really enjoying the process so far! I feel the start of a new fixation.
I have been looking for a "non-screen" related hobby for a while and after some digging I came across Gunpla! As an avid Lego enthusiast I have enjoyed building things but I have been looking for something a bit more detailed and compelling.
I love D&D and medieval fantasy so this Liber Knight stood out for me as an entry point into this world. If you have any tips, tricks or kind words that would be super appreciated!
Hello all, I am new to the model kit assembly hobby, found out about 30MF and it really resonated with me.
I am collecting all the kits, I count around 47 main kits, I have 10 so far, I like some more than others but the lore is amazing and I want to collect even more… but as I see on social media, looks like the real fun begins when you create your own classes mixing and matching parts to create something unique (even when you paint it to your liking). I am not in that part yet…
So if you create your own kits, is it better or more fun? To take two different kits and create one custom one? I wish to collect all the kits but all I see is people customizing theirs and I wonder if I’m missing out for not doing it myself…
What do you guys think?
Combi weapon is the most romantic thing in history I think
Came up with this idea since I saw box art, didn't run very smooth during the build though, I want to make a staff for firing the musket, but couldn't integrate into the design so give up for now.
I add some knight armor for more unbreakable image, and a bigger shield to fit the name fortress more. Haven't decided the color yet, might use black steel too
Liber swordsman silhouette + Rosan fortress turn out to be great combination
