Legion Medusa WIP

I’m in the process of remaking my Death Guard army, as well as expanding it. I have 90 marines primed and ready, but I was in need of some fire support.

I love the look of the Legion Medusa, but I was not prepared to pay the ridiculous amount a pre-owned one costs on Ebay. Instead I made this from scratch in Blender and printed two of them on my Photon Mono 2 (which took a couple of weeks…).

The crew is not painted yet, but the compartment is more visible at this stage, and I really wanted to share the start of this project!

How do I include both Typhon and a Praetor in Terminator Armour in the same list

Hi,

I'm new to 30k and I've been trying to make a deathguard list with the models that I think look cool and own, which includes Typhon and the deathguard specific Praetor in Terminator Armour. I haven't figured out how to have them both in the same army because they are both high command? I've looked through the Libre Hereticus and rulebook that came in Saturnine but I'm probably missing something, unless it's just not possible?

Thanks :)

2.5k list used at Alesia's Lament

In my infinite wisdom, I didn't take pictures of the squads by themselves so you'll have to take my word for it.

Army Paint Scheme

Hello fellow worshippers of the rot! I just got a 1k army of Death Guard and have decided to start painting. I have two ideas though.

The first is a Hollow Knight paint scheme with black and dark blue armor, white helmets and weapons, and bright orange radiance for the guts and boils.

The other is a white silver armor with gold trim, kind of like ancient knights. I’d do black for the guts and boils, mimicking an ancient evil controlling them. I’d also get some material to make moss and shrubbery growing out them. The idea is an army of ancient warriors long dead, possessed by an evil force.

What do you all think?
