32M Would anyone be interested in starting a book club? The idea is to meet up occasionally and talk about the book we've been reading and socialize.

Hi everyone!
I’m staying in Irvine for a work conference October 26-28
and I have Tuesday afternoon/evening free to explore on my own.
I’d love to get out of the hotel, do some shopping/exploring, and have a nice lunch with cocktails/drinks somewhere fun
I’m thinking Newport Beach but I’m open to other areas nearby too!
I’m looking for somewhere cute, social and lively some good food, cocktails, nice atmosphere, maybe a cute patio, rooftop, or somewhere with a fun vibe. I’ll be solo, so ideally somewhere where I can sit at the bar or have lunch without feeling awkward.
I’m also open to recommendations for happy hours, lounges, cute bars, or things to do afterward. I’d love to make a little day out of it rather than just going back to the hotel after lunch.
Any good lunch spots, happy hours, lounges, rooftops, or fun Tuesday afternoon/evening spots anyone can recommend around Irvine/Newport? ☺️

Hello All,

I am looking to get into running and am thinking about joining the run club this Wednesday. I was wondering if there are any other first timers/new-ish to the club people out there who would be happy to make new friends.

32M new to OC, living in Irvine. Is the group open to all ages/people in their 30’s? I am a slow runner (trying to get stronger), enjoy going to good restaurants, breweries, coffee shops, walking, and overall making an effort on self development. I’ve also been wanting to try pickleball, but am open to any other hobby suggestions.

Where can I meet T1Ds in OC?

Im local to Orange/Tustin area.

T1D has been kicking my butt mentally and I feel like my friend group is great at understanding my frustrations but theyre not able to relate as well as someone who is type 1 diabetic. PM me if anyone else has it and would be open to chatting or meeting for coffee.

Open play tonight (Friday 10/2) @ 7:30PM on the Tustin Sports Park soccer fields. Completely free, no obligation to join the league. You can be a complete beginner, no prior experience required. Last couple of seasons there's been ~120 people that have signed up, most I would say are mid to late 20s and 30s. Great way to meet some new people!
