Did you know Genki was making a rail shooter for the M2?
In late 1995, Genki showed off pre-rendered footage of what could be possible on M2. These were all shown off in the 1996 issues of Japan's 3DO Magazine. Edge and Next Generation would report in early 1997 that there were rumours of Genki making a game akin to Panzer Dragoon.
When the M2 was being shown off at various tech expos in late 1997, one of the games on display was a scrolling shooter called "Memory Breaker", along with a port of Sega's Digital Dance Mix and the dolphin demo. This was around when they were marketing it as a professional machine and Panasonic were clear at the event these wouldn't officially release, rather they were just there to show off the tech.
I hope someday the Memory Breaker demo gets found, or at least footage of it in action.
