The seller claims it’s Dual IPS. What do you guys think?

Got this for $199 on eBay. Was beyond lucky and didn’t even think for an extra second to purchase, what yall thinking? I think ips for top.

Bought it 2018 for $140 as a refurbished unit from GameStop. Now it’s worth $500+ on ebay since it’s dual IPS.

Trying to figure out how valuable my New Nintendo 3DS XL is and whether it has IPS screens. I can add more pictures on request.

It’s a Metallic Blue launch-era unit I bought near release. It has:

* Ambassador Program games (20 games including the GBA titles)

* some shell peeling

* tiny screen scratch

* slight stick drift

When I tilt the screens, the colours stay vibrant (maybe I'm wrong) and don’t seem to wash out into black/white, although they get a little blurry at sharper angles.

Does this sound like:

* top IPS / bottom TN?

* dual IPS?

* or just good TN panels?

Also wondering what the console might realistically be worth in the UK market with the cosmetic wear + Ambassador games included. Should I pay to repair it?

Hey guys I recently bought this hyrule edition 3Ds and was wondering if it was dual ips?

So for a while I wanted to see if my 3ds have an IPS or tn so I’m glade to say it have dual ips

After staring at this device for almost 13 years… (I was 11 years old back then and I didn’t have the disposable income to make the purchases I make now).

I finally decided it’s time to make my inner child happy and get my dream console. After scouring listing’s across the entire internet for 3 weeks, getting scammed at first (different seller sent me a normal 3ds xl ac edition despite advertising pictures of the new 3ds xl version), with patience I found this mint condition (basically new) dual IPS version.

For 375€ this is probably an incredibly rare find. I’m glad i’m getting it as an adult now so I can keep it pristine forever.

My custom acrylic stand is already ordered.

Rosalina menu says that they’re both TN, but the top one looks to be IPS. I’m fairly certain the bottom one is TN.

I have two NEW Nintendo 3DS XL. The first one (1st and 2nd photo) is a Metallic Blue model and the other one (3rd, 4th and 5th photo) is a Monster Hunter 4 Ultimated edition model. I wanted to know if at least one of them had an IPS display, or if maybe one of them had a double IPS display. Thanks in advance for the answers.

In local GameStop found the New Nintendo 3DS XL Hyrule Edition. Only charger and console. No major wears on plastic (well there are some scuffs on middle frame from gaming, but you have to tilt on the super angle to see it), couple minor scratches.

Later when installed cwf I read that dual IPS is kinda rare. So I got this one with dual IPS regarding to the CWF data and tilt test (I don't have what to compare with). Got it for $380 with pro discount.

Is it luck finding? Well, I googled it, it says that dual IPS population is only about 10%. As I am completely new in 3ds, have no one else to ask
