Guys I have some basic doubts that would really help me going forward in my 3xo (AX7 Manual, Petrol) journey.

1. Can we rely on the TPMS shown in the dashboard or adrenox app. I saw 33/34 in the dashboard but when checked at petrol pump it was showing as 37 and he made it to 35, again when checked on dashboard it showed 32/33. So is it +/-2 ?

2. Also I didn't realised it was nitrogen, so can that harm the tyres if I fill normal air again.

3. Another observation, sometimes the window glass doesn't comes down with the switch, I've tried unlocking through the central lock and still it didn't worked but at times it works. Not able to figure out if I'm missing something here.

4. Can we rely on the fuel economy of the adrenox app on each trip? How about the fuel economy on the dashboard, is that reliable?

5. Is there any way we can disable the seat belt sensor of rear seats ?

6. Sometimes when I disengage the clutch in traffic it starts with clutch press again and sometimes not though very few times. Again am I missing something here or may be I might have not handled it well.

I booked 3xo 1.5 months back where the showroom salesman mentioned they would deliver within a month. Slowly but surely they started ghosting and now they mention not before 3 months. Pathetic!

I just want to ask existing owners, what is the true waiting period and why are Mahindra Showroom people such Aholes?

I was offered underbody coating during my first servicing. I declined it thinking its unnecessary expense and they are just upselling it.

During my second service after a year they said car has bit of a rust as I did not get coating done and I should get it done. i still think its scare tactic but considering its mahindra should I get any get the coating done?

I used to own maruti and I got it done once and never redid it and car is fine for past 10 years.

Hi everyone, I have got below quote for mentioned 3XO model in Chennai, can anyone pls tell me this is over rated or reasonable price. I tired to negotiate but no additional offer provided by dealer and no discounts on accessories as well. Only got some on insurance amount.

Basic accessories: 15000 ( planning some extra)
Total: 11,96,050

Also planning to go with 3+3 insurance which is cost 68263 in total plus 20k extra accessories and total coming around 12,37,050. Please need your advice. Which option I will go and best among these.

Is the tight 364-liter boot space a massive headache if you are trying to fit a standard full-size folding baby stroller plus a couple of airport luggage bags?

2. The Infotainment & Electronic Glitches

We all know the stories about Mahindra’s software engineering. How widespread are the electronic bugs on the AX5’s dual 10.25-inch screens?

Do you experience frequent wireless Android Auto/Apple CarPlay drops, blank instrument clusters, or false sensor warnings? If they do happen, do they resolve with a simple engine restart, or require a visit to the SC?

3. Real-World Traffic Mileage

What kind of fuel efficiency numbers are you seeing in heavy bumper-to-bumper city crawls (think peak hour Gurgaon/Bangalore traffic) vs. open highway cruising?

4. After-Sales Service & Dealership Experience

This is my biggest area of concern. How is the actual workshop experience? Is the service network as chaotic and overcrowded as people claim?

Specifically for owners in the Delhi-NCR/Gurgaon hub, which service centers would you highly recommend for seamless routine maintenance, and which ones should I absolutely avoid?

Would also appreciate if kind people of the sub can help in negotiation tactics with the dealership. I want to make sure I know exactly what I'm signing up for before finalizing the paperwork.

Today I did the first refuel of my XUV 3XO AX5L after delivery and noticed something odd.

The fuel pump showed 44.6 litres filled to a full tank, even though there was already around 2.5–3 litres of fuel in the tank when I arrived. As per the specifications, the tank capacity is 42 litres.

I had specifically asked the attendant to fill beyond the auto cut-off/nozzle point (top-up filling), but even then the numbers seem off.

Has anyone else experienced something similar with the 3XO or other cars? Is there some extra capacity in the filler neck that could explain this, or is it possible the petrol pump was inaccurate?

I’ve fuelled vehicles many times before but never noticed such a large difference. Should I avoid this fuel station in the future, or am I missing something here?

I’ve already spent quite a bit of time on YouTube watching XUV 3XO PDI (Pre-Delivery Inspection) videos and delivery checklists, but I wanted to hear from actual owners and experienced buyers as well, especially those who have recently taken delivery of a 3XO.

What should I check before taking delivery?
Is a detailed PDI absolutely necessary? In my area, most people don’t usually do one.

What are the common things first-time buyers often miss?
Any must-have accessories that are genuinely useful and not just dealership upselling?
Tips for engine break-in during the first 1,000–2,000 km?
Any paperwork, warranty, or insurance-related things I should verify before signing?
Things you wish you had known when you got your first car?
Since this is a big milestone for my family, I want to make sure I do everything right and avoid any beginner mistakes.

I have a XUV-3XO-AX5L-Petrol Automatic. It has this follow me home headlamp feature, which unnecessarily drains the battery.

After unlocking and opening the door, headlamp lights up. however it closes after closing the driver door.

Most irritating feature is, that when you switch off the car after a drive, the headlamp lights up for almost 20 seconds. I do not want this unnecessary feature. Can this be disabled?

Looking to get the diesel MX2 variant from hyderabad.

Just want to know which showroom gives best price and doesn't scam and has a good reputation due to customer service.

Is anyone using a screen protector for their instrument cluster & infotainment system?

Guys I am planning to get the 3X0 AX7 Diesel MT and finally went to showroom yesterday to see the car in person.

While the 3x0 looks fantastic overall however the only disappointment was to see the shiny black interior plastics (not sure if they are called piano or glossy finish).

Does anyone else feels the same? It looked a bit cheap to me honestly and now rethinking about nexon. Also will this fade over time or get scratched? Should I ignore and book the car?

Booked 3xo ax5l at on 14th March 2026 with waiting period of 6 weeks.

It is not yet delivered.

Dealer is citing supply chain issues and saying vehicle is not alloted from mahindra side.

When followed up same with mahindra via different channels such as mail, customer care and tweeter, I am getting standard response from them that sales team is going to look into the matter and resolve.

Also tried to contact mahindra Area Sales Manager,that shameless scum never picked call and blocked my number.

After alot of research and test driving all the options in compact suv segment,I have selected Ax5l AT as it's ticking all the check box and want to purchase this car and variant only.

Want community's help on following

1. If anyone got ax5l AT delivery in MH, when did you book?

2. what are the options now,how should I escalate.
