Since I was so impressed with my tests for D&D miniatures last week, I jumped right on the opportunity and kept going. Next, I printed a goblin squad.

The minis were printed on my P1S with a layer height of 0.06 mm. I used Sunlu PLA Meta.

I added resin supports to all the models myself and then processed them using the ResinToFDM Blender plugin. I printed the entire squad on a single build plate, which took about 19 hours.

After printing, I was already impressed by the level of detail. The most striking thing was how easily the supports came off and how they still managed to hold even thin details like swords or spikes.

I painted them using the drybrush followed by speedpaint method . The results turned out really great and i am realy happy with them. With a little more time, it would even be possible to bring out the details even better.

All in all, I’m really impressed with the workflow. FDM is definitely enough to meet about 80% of my miniature needs. However, for super-detailed models, resin is still king.

Hello friends! Here is my White Dragon 3D printed by one of my patrons! I love how the paint job makes the highlights really pop. When I designed this mini I really enjoyed how chonky the White Dragon is compared to the other new dragons in the Monster Manual 2025.

Working on a terrain set and I wanted to have some shelves for it so I whipped these together. I think they turned out really nice. Super simple low-poly models that print supportlessly.
