Looking for mirror chrome paints
Hello, I'm working on my first helmet currently and am stuck at the visor step.
I've printed, sanded and painted the helmet, built a diy vacuum forming rig, and managed to get a few half decent odst visors made.
I tired using window tinting film THEN vacuum forming, but came out with horrendous results. (Film didn't droop like the petg does)
I've seen using spaz stix mirror chrome is the go-to, but delivery is expensive and will take a long time.
Wondering if there's any alternatives, ideally available in the UK with a quick-ish delivery time.
Can I just use chrome spray paints on the back side of the visor?
Thanks in advance,
-Janky Odst
Edit:
Note:
I have seen the galactic armoury video, and would prefer to make my own visor.
(The visor wont fit my helmet model) (I'm going to make more helmets in the future, will need more than just 1 odst visor)
I have tried using window tint film. I paired the film to the petg sheet, tried heating it to vacuum form. But the tint sheets DO NOT melt enough to vacuum form. Tint sheet won't bend around the visor buck, as it's too complex shape for the film to bend. (Film won't stretch like petg)
Halo Infinite Mark V in CE's Style
Finally finished my first suit, about a year in the making! I always loved the new iteration of the Mark V, but wanted to try taking a stab at recreating the feel of CE's color palette. Just in time for Campaign Evolved!
Printed entirely on the Neptune 3 Max

3D Printed Mark V Campaign Evolved vs Infinite
Battle-worn vs. factory new
Finished my new helmet !!
This is my new helmet for my cosplay I’m making this year, it is the paladin helmet.
The second to last picture if of the visibility and the last picture is it with my old chest, I will be making a new bulkier one for this armour to fit the theme I’m going for .
Movable ODST chest
Hey everyone!
I’m about to start building my ODST armor and want to make the chest piece as flexible and movable as possible.
I vaguely remember seeing a build years ago where someone split the chest armor into three separate sections so it could move more naturally with the body, but I can’t find the post, picture, or video anymore.
I also came across the term “WETA” while searching, but that didn’t really lead me anywhere useful either.
Does anyone here have examples or tips on how to best approach this kind of build?
My current plan is to mount the chest armor onto a modified tactical vest.
