Don Johnson’s "Heartbeat" (1986). But it's a wild 80s bootleg edition!

The Album:
Released in 1986, Heartbeat was the hit debut album by Miami Vice star Don Johnson. The title track went straight to #5 on the Billboard charts.

The Backstory:
I believe my aunt (women still love that guy, and probably men too =) ) picked up this cassette at a local market during a trip to Europe in the late 80s.

It is actually a rare Polish bootleg by a label called "T.J. Mix". Back then, Western originals were impossible to find behind the Iron Curtain, so local bootleggers made these to satisfy the massive demand for Western pop music.

August 19, 1986. A South African Air Force C-47 Skytrain was struck by a Soviet-supplied SA-7 missile while flying in contested South West Africa (now Namibia). Despite having its tail section largely blown off, the pilot managed to land the plane.
