My son is going to America in a few weeks and I thought it might be a chance for him to get me some 4ks that are only available from there to save some money, i recently purchased kickboxer steelbook and it cost me £90 because it was only released in America, so I thought maybe I can save some money whilst he's there to get American only releases that would cost a fortune in the UK otherwise.

Anyone have any ideas what I should ask him to look for?

I’m looking to purchase the Blu-ray Disc from the a24 website but don’t want to pay the import fee, is there a chance a uk version will be released?

What is preventing GKids from doing a general release of GITS 2 Innocence on 4k Blu-ray? They bragged about the 4k remaster for weeks, then only did a limited release of the movie in select cinemas? I'm in the UK and would love a physical copy of the movie with English subs. It surely can't be that niche of a want?

It said it shipped on the 4th but still nothing. Yesterday I got an email from inpost saying it will come at a certain window and nothing happened. Then they just said I wasn't in and that they would try tomorrow. I was in all yesterday and now today I have no time slot.

Edit: It's got even worse! Inpost app said it had arrived and nothing at all has come. I have called them and they are launching an investigation!

I ordered £100+ worth of discs. I have contacted Rarewaves and Inpost a few days ago but they have no got back to me.

What do I do next? Any ideas what may have happened?

There is no picture of delivery.

I was wondering if anyone else was experiencing delays with their global standard shipping?

Amazon still predicts it will be on time, but it has usually been a handful of days later.

I'm new to collecting 4ks and physical media in general so excuse me if this is a stupid question.

If I bought an Amazon USA box set that had no region locked extras will CEX take it in as a trade in over here?

Bought a film today from a certain CEX and as I went to the counter to purchase, my first concern was the quality of the disc so I asked about it saying how "4Ks are a little more delicate than standard DVDs and Blurays so I just want to know if this particular disc will be ok" blah blah etc, which the person stated that it should be okay and told me of a return window or something similar if I do encounter any issues - They went and got the disc and proceed to full palm grab the disc and slide it around in the case trying to get it clipped in. I thought it was a natural impulse to grab any disc by it's edges but I guess I was just proven wrong - I wasn't rude in any way by asking such a question so I doubt they did it on purpose but probably they are more so just stupid. I don't know. I am mad at such poor customer service and I hope the disc is okay. How should I feel?

Ive not long started collecting 4ks and certain blu rays again. Why does everyone on eBay, Vinted etc... want retail prices or close to retail? what happened?

I find it weird that they’ve got 4 copies of a new movie priced at £22 - who donated them? did they get sent 4 copies by the studio? did CEX buy them at a discount to then sell on?
