Only 630 made and i have exacly the 501 one 😎 lucky i am
Yes, I know this would be a rebel legion thing but the subreddit gets no traction, I'm working on a x wing pilot for rebel legion, what are some details I can add to this helmet?
I'm in the process of making it irl and already have the helmet prepared, I'll be using acrylic paint and paint markers.
I want it to be unique and recognizable, what should I add or change?
Some other information if it matters:
I'm a 21 year old trans woman
I'm really big into the punk community, and I want that to show in my helmet
The rancor is non negotiable, thats for my old dog miley
I don't really know the x wing decal meanings, so if you want to inform me about them that would be great
If we had a super-large 3D printer, we wouldn't have to go through the trouble of disassembling the model.
Why disassemble? Because we can't afford super-large, high-end printers! 😄
So i am putting together some storm trooper armor and this is my first time making cos play clothing of any kind. I've only done props or weapons. How do I make my armour look dirty or battle worn. I'm going for a post war/post order 66 look to it.
Obviously anyone can join, but for example, if I wanted to say, cosplay as Malgus, or Luke skywalker, but I’m a woman (which I am) would there be any issues with that? Would I have to wear a binder or something?
Very new to all this so any help is appreciated!
Hey guys I’m thinking about getting a RS propmasters fully finished sandtrooper armor for my next armor does any body of you all have bought those and cound you tell me if I have to make changes with it for it to me approvable.
Thanks for your help
Anyone know a reputable seller/website for the book of boba fett under suit? I wanted to see if anyone knows/has experience with one before I gamble on Etsy for a good one
Honest question, how does one get featured on the 501st or SLD official page? I Recently have great photos of me and wife as Darth Vader and an Imperial Officer respectively during May the 4th and whenever I post on IG as always tag the detachments. Some of my co-Garrison members have been featured multiple times.
I just really take pride in my Darth Vader being that it has always been the costume I wanted to do as a member.
Appreciate any thoughts.
First time at RSC 2026 is a wraps for this airborne clone, loads of fun, photos, fist bumps, figh fives, and shenanigans were had. Definitely will be making the trip again next year!
So recently I got a clone helmet and I wanted to complete the armour but I have no idea how to make or buy it. So if anyone could tell me how to make it or where to buy some that would be most appreciated.
1st attempt at making a pauldron any tips to make it better
Hello! I am currently working on a suit for armor for renfaire and im attempting to do a one pauldron setup with a cloak. THE VISION: The cloak will be attached on the underside of said pauldron to the other arm (across the back) and over the other shoulder. (please see attached photo)
QUESTIONS;
How would you recommend i attach the fabric to the foam?
How should i attach the pauldron to the chestplate? I was thinking belts, but if there's anything else that would work please let me know
Is it going to be too much weight? I'm using a light spandex like material for the cloak and maybe some fur for the other shoulder. but i dont know the extent foam can take. the pauldron is 6mm and the chestplate is 10mm (See Second Image)
Any future issues you think i might encounter?
Any Advice would be greatly appreciated. I'm new to foamsmithing and unsure of the constraints of the medium.
