First PC Build for Lifelong Console Gamer
I’m just extremely happy with this and wanted to share it.
Built it last weekend. It’s my first build. I didn’t account for 200mm front fans and 140mm side fans blocking each other, so drilled new holes in frames of 200s and slid them toward glass side a half inch to make it all fit.
I think my consoles may be paperweights now.

DAMN shoulda done it sooner. What a beautiful thing.
Sag bracket is built into the case.
Undervolted, but connector seems solid, pin monitoring is all set up.

Should I buy this 5090?
Found a ASUS 5090 ROG Astral for $3600 open box from MicroCenter. Been wanting a 5090 for a while, but haven’t done it because of the insane prices driven by the AI market.
Flagship air cooled card for the same cost as a Gigabyte base seems cool on paper… but is it worth it?
I primarily game, and have a 5k2k main display with two 1440p OLED secondary monitors. For gaming alone it seems stupid, but I like the best of the best. Halp.

Ac blackflag best dlss preset
I am playing on 4k oled and which dlss preset is the best to use? I am getting a ton of ghosting when using smoke bombs on preset k dlaa with 2xfg and the dlss quality is noticeably blurry in this particular game for me and i also noticed i am getting around 55 fps everything max dlaa 4k but in yt benchmarks most of the people are getting around 65 fps
