Diamondback Made a Cool 5.7 and Nobody Noticed

Why they decided to launch this mid Covid, when 5.7 was 2$ a round and nobody cared, then never soft relaunch it I'll never know. But this thing is cool as hell. They made basically an AR 180 in 5.7 with a match barrel, adjustable gas, and really well designed upper then just never marketed it.

Aluminum ST50

Has anyone put out a video reviewing the aluminum st50 kit? I was hoping that stuff and things or someone else would eventually make an aluminum kit as the poly st50 seems to have a lot of fitment issues. But now that stuff and things came out with their aluminum kit Im wondering if they fixed those issues.

Anybody running a m&p 5.7 with holosun 407K? I’m between that and the vortex CCW. Anything I should know? Any pictures? Bonus points if FDE pistol and optic. PFA

CMMG RDB 5.7 8" Conversion Suppressed Issues

I'm using the CMMG 5.7 8" conversion with a traditional baffled can. I switched from the recommended standard buffer spring and carbine buffer to a Sprinco blue (+15% strength) buffer spring and an H2 buffer. After the first round in a mag, the bolt closes on an empty chamber. I assume mag friction is enough to slow the carrier that it is short stroking, but I'm not totally sure. I'm going to put a standard buffer spring in, but if anyone has experienced something similar and wants to save me the headache, please advise.
