Welcome to our weekly thread dedicated to hip-hop tracks that aren’t from the ’80s but sound like they could’ve been.

Whether it’s a modern artist channeling the golden-era energy, a producer bringing back those classic drum machines and funky samples, or an older track that helped shape ’80s hip-hop, this is the place for it.

This thread is for:

[GUIDE] How to get my post to autoplay?

This isn't mandatory just another option for users that wanted to know how to clean up they're music videos and audio related posts. Always wanted to post a video that autoplays? Like the way it looks then read the steps below. We all doom scroll and if your post happen to catch someone's attention, hope this helped! Go to this site

(Make sure to have Pop-up blocker on, this site has a lot of ads, when it saves it may take you to another site be sure to let the ad blocker close it for you)

Steps on how to post!

  1. Use the search bar first to make sure your post hasn't been submitted recently (rule 6).
  2. Review the subreddit rules and posting guidelines before posting. (rule 3 & 4)
  3. Choose MP4.
  4. Go to YouTube and find a video you would like to download.
  5. Copy the video's link.
  6. Paste the link into the converter above.
  7. Click the Convert button.
  8. The conversion will start. This might take a moment. As soon as the conversion is finished, you can download the converted file.
  9. Rename the video file before posting. Artist - Song (Year)
  10. Upload the video directly to Reddit instead of posting a YouTube link. In the add or drag media section.

Direct video uploads will auto-play in users' feeds, giving your post better visibility and engagement.
