ACC is more than just playable on a controller. It's super fun.

After messing around with the settings and tuning the basic things like steering ratio. I find the game to be a lot more welcoming on controller without any assists. With steer filter and steering assist in controller I was able to smooth out the steering and create sufficient room for me to work with the stick and not literally translate every input 1:1 like iRacing which is just atrocious.

Also they should rename steer assist and filter in controller settings to something mode appropriate. I had it disable for sometime think it was assists but all it does is smooths out your input based on your speed and keep the inputs consistent and linear.

No clue about competitive but its really sufficient to get started, learn and unnoticed your technique and be in the mid pack if not in the medute

THROUGH GOES HAMILTON!!!!!

Mustang has front and rear damage because I was crashed into at the beginning of the race. Honestly, the car felt like the Ferrari F14t, but I still tried my best, and this gem of an overtake came along

First Online Race

had my first online race at Monza with the Audi R8 GT3 EVO2 in a 13-driver lobby.

Going into Turn 1, I stayed clear of the pack because we all know what happens there—sure enough, five drivers crashed into each other. I was at the back watching them run off track. I stayed consistent, carried out my laps, and ended up finishing P2. I didn’t have to fight hard for positions; I just let others make mistakes and passed them safely.

I know these are low-safety-rating lobbies, and I forgot to record the 10-minute race, but it was really fun. I concentrated on clean driving, making sure not to oversteer or miss my apexes. I even got the fastest lap of the race at a 1:53.468. I know that's relatively slow, but the rest of the lobby was running around 1:55s.

What’s your opinion? of not fighting at T1 Monza

ACC Graphical issues/grain in Menu and Ingame

Hey folks,

been driving ACC since it's out, had a little break and started again. I came across a few graphical issues and have since tried a lot to understand and solve them. Nothing helped.

What have i tried?

Different Graphics Card: 9070XT and 5070TI
Deleted the ACC Folder in username/documents/
Different Monitor (both at 3440x1440)

Disabled/Lowered every single setting in the video menu but no setting was able to solve this issue. To me it seems that almost every shiny/glossy surface is affected. I have seen very few posts about this issue but not the solution. Any idea what is going on? Is it just a 12 year old game holding on to the last straw?

Mustang vs Aston Martin V8

I’m a new controller player with around 25hrs. My main car was the Aston Martin V8 and I even managed to get 1:48 on Monza with it. I tried out the Ferrari 296 as well but wasn’t able to hit those same times. I really did like driving the Aston Martin tho.

I’ve been thinking about switching to the Mustang simply because I love that car and I’m willing to put in the time to become good on it. What should I be aware of or change in terms of my racing with it?

Car restarting problem

Hello everyone,

I've been playing AAC for 6 months and I have a question about races of 3 hours or more.

When I do long runs with 100 percent damage, I have a problem with my car. After about 2h30 of racing, the engine suddenly shuts down during a downshift, which locks the rear wheels and makes me lose control. But the engine can also shut down when I get too much on the vibrator (for example, the third chicane in Imola). When I try to restart it, you can hear the starter, but the engine doesn't start again. I don't see where it's coming from, because I have the activity ignition, I press the starter well, I have the automatic clutch, I have gasoline and no engine light is displayed.

But when I go back to the garage and I keep going, the car restarts and leaves.

Could it come from too high an engine map (I play with the Porsche in mapping 8 out of 10)?

Thank you in advance for your answers.

.

I for the love of god can't stop oversteering Pt. 2

Someone told me to post a video of my (horrid) driving so here it is. My absolute best that i can do at this time, i know some turns like turn 1 are taken one gear up but im incapable of doing so and being faster that how i do it currently so. BTW someone told me to put TC2 at the max and it is really noticeable

Any tips are very apreciated, i really like this game and hope i can get proficient someday

Edit: thank you so much to all the people that replied giving tips and advice, I'll try to put all these inputs to the test ☺️☺️

I for the love of god can't stop oversteering

Even with the aston martin v8 im trying to use aggresive set up and i can't stop oversteering or being incredibly slow in almost all corners, idk what to do at this point. I see people on yt going full gas at the same point as I on a certain corner with TC1 and their car is completely planted but mine goes all around. I`m starting to believe that this isnt for me because i see no improvement over time and its been some

Entering multiple cars in the same race

Is it possible for a driver to enter in multiple cars in the same endurance race, just like Frank Stippler did in the real Nurburgring 24 Hours? From what I understand, if you have two steam accounts and two ACC copies, and you are logged in on the correct steam account, it should put you in the correct car, but there are some questions. I'm assuming two steam accounts on one device, both with the same game would share game files right? Or would I essentially have to download it twice to two different file directories somehow, is that even possible? Is it actually possible to run two cars from one device?

Sorry

I apologise to whoever the mclaren is took out during quali in the acl around 3pm gmt.

I was in the r8 coming through eau rough, radion. I lost the back end as I clipped the inside curb and sent me in spin to the outside barry r and launched me across into pit lane. It was my first race in this car and after half an hour practice I may have been pushing more than I handle. I felt so bad I turned off in shame

What does this blinky red light mean?

I was racing on Monza and in the ending laps I noticed this red light started blinking but I did not see any other info.

Does anyone know what this blinky reed light means?

EDIT: The blinky red light was on for three laps before the low fuel warning came on. I chose a bad screenshot, my bad.

Strange steering input

Just started up acc again after quite some time, but now whenever u want to drive the first 90 degrees the steering wheel just doesn’t react, but when I turn more it progressively turns faster in the game,
In the settings it looks normal
Also my ffb is extremely high?
I’ve played acc before and haven’t changed any settings? Anyone know how to fix this issue?

P.s I'm not a fan of the gtr and amg. Tried those out and I don't feel a fizz

Monza really testing my incident avoidance

Relatively new to acc so trying to get my safety up in open lobbies has been interesting.
