Help! Can't able to install/play AC Valhalla owned in Epic Games

Hello, I have AC Valhalla standard edition in my Epic games store. I have clicked link to Ubisoft account through Epic Games launcher. It opened a browser and asked me to give my Ubisoft account details. Then I got the result that both Epic games and Ubisoft are successfully linked. So when I clicked "install" under AC Valhalla from my Epic Games library, it shows "please wait while we are installing the partner application"...then Ubisoft Connect app opens and says "logging in" and then after showing "initializing", the Ubisoft connect app auto exits. That's it! Valhalla is not downloading and I can't even find that game in my Ubisoft connect library. When I click install again, the same process repeats with the same issue.

I've attached a video showcasing this issue for your reference.

I have tried:

  1. I have tried in two different devices, PC and Laptop. The same issue repeats

  2. I have tried logging out and logging back in, same issue

  3. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling, didn't work.

I've raised a ticket to both Ubisoft and Epic Games. Epic Games support told me that I should contact Ubisoft as they suspect the problem is on Ubi's side. I've raised a ticket to Ubi two days ago but still haven't received a reply.

Please help me fix this as I want to play my game.

Should I play?

Ok so I was playing Witcher 3 for like 55 hours but it's been removed from gamepass soon so I couldn't finish it. So I deleted it. I also deleted RE7 out of rage which I was gonna play.

I just feel down after losing Witcher and want smth to turn my brain off to.

Is this a good game for that?

In case anyone was curious about only 4 weekly challenges being available last week ....

Ubisoft has no info on the matter. Not very surprising, but this part of their response was unintentionally hilarious. I mean, sadly hilarious.

"We thank you for further clarifying the issue, we understand that last week the limited time trials had 1 less challenge, please know that we have sadly, no information from the team in regard to a change like this being permanent.

Since sadly, the roadmap of updates for the game ended, the team has moved on to other titles and we sadly, are unable to provide concrete information in regard to this possibly changing."

Does anyone else totally ignore runes and the rune mechanic?

I have OCD, and for some reason the idea of runes, and the statistical numbered buffs these prove really trigger it. Therefore, I totally ignore them, even if they are a rune a numerical modifier. I know some runes give buffs like fire weapons and all that fancy stuff, but to me ignoring those parts of the game is a worthy tradeoff.

Anyone else have weird mechanical hangups when playing haha

Why is the “Free Item” still a thing in the store when it’s literally been years since we could grab one?
