I want honest opinion are their mocks actually helpful in covering the important topics for the exam is that why students are doing well I don’t expect the same question to pop up Please let me know ,
people who took jade’s mocks crash test series, was real exam that difficult too? their mocks are making me anxious tbh, or is repetition is the key for these questions
ADAT overall 540 GPA: 3.5 Should I even consider applying to Western, Alberta and Manitoba? or should i try learning french for Mcgill? if yes, how much time does that take usually to reach b1 level? what are the chances for Canadian universities at this score in this cycle? Does anyone know any cutoffs from last cycle? I seriously can't figure out if I should learn fast track french inn like 6 months or invest in bench preparation.
Thank you!
2nd attempt , preparing with Jade . I need some serious study partner to focus on high yield topics and help me pass this attempt . Kindly help . Thank you
Hi everyone! I’m taking the ADAT this cycle and wanted to ask those who have already taken it: Did you encounter any calculation-based questions on the ADAT this cycle?
Hi, is anyone here applying for a dental specialty residency in US/Canada? I’m an internationally trained orthodontist and would like to understand how realistic the chances are for a foreign-trained orthodontist to get into an accredited orthodontic residency program. I’d really appreciate hearing from anyone who has gone through the process or is currently applying.
Would anyone who’s been through bench test prep for Canadian dental school (International
Dentists program) happen to have a complete list of instruments you need/used
Hi everyone,
I just wanted to introduce myself and share a little bit about why I’m here.
I’m The Dental Girl, and last cycle I got a 690 on the ADAT, which was a score I honestly never imagined I would get. That score helped me get into the University of Toronto, which has truly been my school of dreams. Looking back, it still feels a little surreal to say that out loud.
When I first started this journey, Reddit helped me so much. I found support, reassurance, and practical advice from people who were kind enough to share their experiences. It made a big difference for me during a time that felt really overwhelming, and I’ve always wanted to give that support back in some way.
That’s why I started sharing content on my Instagram, @the.dentalgirl. I’ll be posting about ADAT and also UofT interviews, with the hope that it can help make this journey a little easier for others. I’ve already shared some resources and tips that I personally found helpful on my page, and I’ll keep posting more in case they help someone else too.
And if you want to follow along, I’d really appreciate it. I’m excited to share more, and I hope I can be as helpful to others as Reddit was for me.
I just gave my exam today and I just checked my email, I already have got Pearson's email saying " you may access your score report online now"
it gets released the sane day???? or like its something else, I am so scared to even open the email, did anyone get this email right after their exam?
I’m an internationally trained dentist and a Canadian citizen. I’m considering applying to Canadian dental schools through their advanced standing/qualifying programs.
My current stats are:
ADAT: 670
GPA: 3.3
Canadian citizen
Based on these stats, how competitive would I be for Canadian dental schools? Are there particular schools where I might have a better chance of receiving an interview or admission?
Did anyone register for DSTC bench prep? Are you purchasing their instruments or buying second hand?
Please advise where should I buy instruments and material to practice for bench test for universities if I’m applying after appearing in ADAT exam. WHAT ALL INSTRUMENTS DO I NEED? And where should I buy them from?
Can anyone from previous batches tell when they release the acceptances? Any idea how many students they take? Also, those who gave the bench this year how did you guys feel? Does all the preps need to be perfect to be able to get in? Any insights are appreciated. This wait is exhausting.
Hi everyone, can someone please explain the ADAT exam procedures, including how the breaks work and what items are allowed/not allowed inside the exam center? Also, are there any specific rules we should know about regarding breaks, food/water, or personal belongings? Thank you!
