I've noticed that quite a few KC fans also appreciate AdP. In the recent Guitar World interview Khn mentioned that King Crimson was one of the few bands that he listened to constantly when he was younger. It's also the band that I listened to constantly throughout my younger years and decades. AFAIK they are the seminal Progressive 'math rock' group, with their 1973 song 'Fracture', their 1972 album Lark's Tongues in Aspic and their breakout 1969 single 21st Century Schizoid man.
