I wasn't planning to write a review of this fight but I think it had to be addressed as I feel it put not only put a stain on legit Woman's combat sports but even tainted our Fetish a bit with its massive stink. Of course there are legions of fans this morning that are defending both women and trying to legitimize what took place last night. But let's be real though none of us will ever be able to prove it, that was complete theater last night.

Firstly I aint mad at either woman for getting paid. Times is hard on the Boulevard and if you can get that money by any means, get it. Gas is fking 5 bucks. The cameras show both women before their walk to the ring and we see Carano skipping around in circles smiling like a Stepford wife like she have been doing in most of her interviews the past couple of weeks, looking like AJ Lee. CM Punk was in fact in the building. Then you had Ronda performing the same takedown over and over to ensure the work looked proper when it was time to execute in the cage. She was never a good pro wrestler and had to make sure she got it right. Long walks to the cage and 17 seconds later it was over.

From the take down you could tell the younger Ronda was in better game shape. Despite not being in the cage for a number of years, she had been in the pro wrestling ring recently and she does farm work at home. Carano might be able to handle herself if a drunk woman at a bar attacked her. But to be honest we don't really know what level either woman is at because they were not going to do a Junior dos Santos and go out on their sheild. The take down looked rehearsed because Ronda was literally just rehearsing it. Carano caught her with a choke despite looking like she got ran over by a truck, she showed that she still know what to do in a fight. Then magical the choke disappears with little resistance and selective camera work (kill the camera man) and suddenly they side into a scissor, excuse me, armbar and the fight is over.

When this fight was first announced people immediately referred to catfighting as the route these two still very hot MILF type should go. Oil, mud, pillow fighting and everything else was referred to in full force in the comment sections. As a catfight enthusiast, I can't lie some of the comment I even found sexist. This was despite having the fetish fantasies of seeing Carano and Rousey in something that looked closer to Jess vs Mira 2 (at least those women gave us over 40 minutes of the best catfight action of all times. Maybe I'll watch it tonight). After last night's "fight" those comments were back in full force. But the problem is our Fetish can be viewed as deviant, sexist and even perverted but what Carano and Ronda cause last night is for our Fetish to be MOCKED! And that's one think you don't want is for your fetish to mocked, ridiculed and laughed at. And when the comments say that Ronda and Gina should have had catfight it's not done in a serious tone it's done in a mocking tone and that puts a stain on our Fetish and what talents like Mira, Jess, Sarah Brooke and Lora Cross do as legitimate competition and sexual fetish.
