I've always kinda wanted to get into akb48 but literally how do I start there's so much. There's a few guides from like 2024? Is that up to date? Should I run while I still can?

Oh my God. So happy for the girls!

In case you missed the livestream yesterday!

For the first time, the release day handshakes and stage performance was done at one separate venue instead of AKB48 Theater and had a live audience.

This video popped up on my YouTube feed and since I’m trying to get more into the group I decided to give it a watch since apparently they have way more music than I thought. There’s this song they sing starting at the 3:52 mark. I can’t figure out what it is. The person that uploaded the video linked 6 songs and none of them sound like this one to me. I don’t can’t speak or read Japanese, so I’m posting this here to see if y’all could give me the song title in English.

I think that all theatre performances should be sung 100% live, save for super dance heavy songs like Ne Mo Ha Mo Rumor. It's good practice for the girls and gives the vocally talented members a chance to shine, not to mention it's good for building stamina for fully live festivals like TIF. Idk why aki-p is so dead set on having the all groups he produces lipsync all the time anyway.

i know its true for kpop idols and other global singers, but i am curious about akb since they are my favourite group. i know jpop is less strict about being in sync or dancing perfectly im just curious
