I picked up this 2022 recently, and I love it! I am driving it as an "almost daily" and thoroughly enjoying it.

This is also my test bed for Renntech/performance style upgrades, so I won't cry as hard as I would on a 63R or equivalent if I destroy something. If all goes well, I could easily see dropping the money for a higher end 63 after this.

After having the car for a month or so I've decided to remove the graphics from the car as I'm not feeling the 'fake' edition one vibes.

However, when using AI to see what it would look like I asked it to leave the stripe and now I can't decide between removing them all or leaving that on. Would be great to get some thoughts from the community, let me know what you think?

Just got one of my dream cars. My new to me 2013 CLS63 AMG. 180k on the clock. No P30 pack, No LSD, but i talked the guy into a 11k deal. PPI checked out. no bore scoring. Low priced deal. and i did it with out giving up my C43, which i had convinced myself i was gona have to do inorder to get my CLS63. but nope. Im a super happy camper rn.

Yesterday I was deiving at the soeed limit on the highway amd suddenly a exhaust noise on the engine bay.
At first I tought that the manifold broke, but I didn't see nothing.
Today I lift the car amd the cat just broke perfectly on the weld. My plan is to weld it again.
Anyone that happens the same?
Also the spark plugs need a change so today was a fun day!

Another oil change done today. Still running like a beast. After every oil change i always tend to look into the filter for any concerning items like signs of scoring or anything but so far nothing of concern. Posting a pic as well in comments as my recent find in the filter but looked like metal but felt like paper so, not much of a concern. I will be looking into my cylinder walls this weekend as well to just assure myself my car is running healthy. But i do understand scoring is part of an old engine but catastrophic scoring is what i want to look into.

Just about 6k km (3728mi) old oil, wanna make a 500km (311mi) drive. Is the level and condition okay for that?

This is a post I hate making, but a message. I was hit head-on by someone on my way home in the CLS63 Designo Edition no less. I came out of this with some hairline fractures to the face, some other bone bruises and injuries. This could have been a lot worse.

Taking these pictures on clean out was a shock, sad, and thankful all at once. An end to my AMG journey, had her over 10 years.
