Hello all,

I'm trying to get into APRSOTA, but I've been having the hardest time. I think my issue is hardware quality so just looking for what you guys use to I can stop wasting money on wires and just get what works

So I'm using this wire with a Quansheng UV K1

Problems I'm running into is that the HT and my phone misbehave with ghost touches, for example when I send an ARPS beacon thru Aprsdroid, it pops up the Google assistant. (Tried disabling but still does it) And sometimes when I plug in the HT to my phone, it makes the volume go down

AI suggested some power issues from bad shielding so I got two ground loop isolators for each of the HT pins but I didn't solve the issue

So I'm checking with you guys what's a decent budget setup that works for you? I'm also open to using my PC if not Aprsdroid
