Order Cancelled

Hey Everyone,

My Resonance pre order was just canceled due to the game being ‘Pulled from launch’

Has anyone heard anything?

Ok, I know nothing about the game, but it's 90% off on steam, what is the vibe here?

I haven't played many story/adventure games, basically only Death Stranding and Detroit as I have an older PC (ps4 equivalent) and at the time couldn't really afford games. Now I don't have much time so I'm trying to spend it on the right game.

Asking cause I'm hoping this is like a horror-survival-thriller, and how is the general writing of the story?

I am stuck at chapter 16 - cart mission

I am stuck at chapter 16 cart mission and those guards coming from behind are getting me hard. like the aim don’t do the justice and sometimes it goes out of the point even though it shows yellow aim point. also they come very fast and it’s it takes time to gain momentum for the next hit.

what am I missing here? this is the first time in entire game, where I am dying constantly at one point only.

UPDATE: Completed the game, thank you all for your suggestions, helped it.

This is why I buy physical.

It's cheaper, has both games fully on the disc, needs no internet, and comes with a steel case. There's virtually no downsides.

(These are Canadian prices btw. Amazon US got it for $50)

I cant push myself to play

Hello there,
Both games are great.
That makes it all the more frustrating that I can't play them anymore. The ending was really bad for me.
I can come to terms with death; generally, forced happy endings annoy me.
But here, I don't know. When I play it again, it just feels pointless.
I played through the first game five times.
I just can’t bring myself to play Requiem.
Any advice on how to enjoy these games anyway?
It occurred to me to end Requiem by sailing away from the island.

Thank you

Anyone else excited for resonance?

Ever since finishing Requiem, I’ve been looking into Resonance and I’m honestly pretty excited.
I know it’s a prequel and we’ll be playing as Sophia instead of Amicia, but I actually think that’s a cool direction. It looks like they’re trying something a little different while still expanding the world and the Macula.
I’m curious what everyone else thinks though.
Are you hyped for it, or would you have preferred a direct sequel? And do you think Resonance can live up to Innocence and Requiem? Those two games set the bar really high for me, especially with the storytelling and characters.
I’m trying to keep my expectations in check, but I’m really hoping Asobo can pull it off again.

Just Finished A Plague Tale: Requiem….

I just finished A Plague Tale: Requiem and I can’t stop thinking about it.
I went in expecting a solid stealth story game, nothing crazy… but nah, this game actually got me attached to the characters way more than I expected. The story just pulls you in and doesn’t really let go. Gameplay also just keeps getting better the further you go, like it slowly clicks into place.
And the visuals + music? Insane. There were so many moments where I literally just stopped moving and looked around like “yeah… this is special.”
But that ending man… I just sat there staring at the screen for a good while. Didn’t even feel like hitting continue or anything, just sat there processing it.
For people who finished it: what did you think about the ending? Did it hit you the same way or were you hoping they handled it differently?
Also do you think we’re ever getting a proper sequel after Requiem, or is that basically the end of Amicia’s story since Resonance is a prequel?

Most annoying character is gaming history

One of the most obnoxious and idiotic characters I’ve ever seen in a game . He doesn’t even act like a real child it’s comical the situation he gets into. Another than him the game is great .I’m playing innocence right now I hope it a big time jump in the sequel so I don’t have to deal with him anymore. Does anyone else feel the same😂
