Does ARCA deserve more respect?

I know the racing can be boring often and is full of slower roadblocks, but these so called "professionals" really deserve some credit. They are running speeds that, most of us, has never ran. Okay maybe not the absolute backmarker cars running engines form the 2000's, but most of the cars within some pace of the leaders. Especially at Daytona and Talladega. And even though stock cars are safer than other forms of racing like IndyCar, they still risk injury when they step in. Also, it's hot on there, especially during a 90+ degree summer day. And even the guys like Brad Smith and Bobby Hillis Jr and Alex Clubb, the pure grit they put in. They race for the love of it, they run on shoestrings budgets. Just for them to show up to the track is a win for them. So in a series dominated by PRG and JGR, take a moment to respect the blue-collar, gritty underdogs that makes this series, a grassroot series. Of course this is my opinion and nearly anyone can race most tracks with a valid ARCA liscence. But still, this is many of these drivers love.

Bobby Earnhardt

What all has Bobby been able to accomplish in his ARCA career?

I haven’t been watching the ARCA Menards series for long. But for what I have seen. Outside of the superspeedways Bobby really isn’t a guy that’s consistently up front.

Almost makes me wonder. Did Bobby separate himself from the Earnhardt family. Why doesn’t he have backing from JRM?

If he really wants to pursue this racing path. I’m sure Jr. would at least offer his help if he wants it.

Happy 4th of July!

Not a big drawer, but there it is. Have a happy and safe and most importantly fun 4th of July. Catch the next ARCA race on FS2 at Lime Rock Park next week as the ARCA drivers hit the road (course).

NITRO TO DODGE?!?!?

Rumor has it that Toyota is NOT renewing their agreement with NITRO MOTORSPORTS for the 2027 season. Sources familiar Dodge had submitted a body to the ARCA MENARDS SERIES officials. Owner Nick Tucker has a close working relationship with Matt Kaulig and Chris Rice. This is foreshadowing the pending DODGE return to the NASCAR Cup Series with Kaulig for the 2027 season.

ARCA on the NASCAR channel

With today's Arca race being streamed on the NASCAR channel, it made me start thinking on if this could potentially be a full-time idea? With NASCAR now basically having its own 24 seven channel, why wouldn't they just stream all Arca races on there, it would help the ARCA series boost its popularity and allow casual viewers who might not have Flo to get to see and know some of the upcoming drivers that they very well could see racing in the trucks or O'Reilly series in the upcoming years. I don't know if this is what any of the executive members of NASCAR are thinking or if I'm just overthinking everything and this could just be a every now and then kinda deal, but I just thought it was something interesting to ponder.

Sam Corry wins, Broadcast cuts out due to power outage for final restart

It f*cking sucks. Congrats to Sam Corry on his first ARCA Menards Series West win along with Nitro Motorsports. ARCA Menards Series national race comes on tommorow on FS2 at Elko. It's a late one, 9 PM (8 PM CT, 6 PM PT).

ARCA west race not on Flo Racing

I just tuned in into Flo and the ARCA Menards west race from Sonoma doesn’t appear to be showing.

Is there a weather delay or something and that’s why it’s not currently on.

Or did they cancel the event altogether?

Ty Fredrickson Finishes 3rd at Elko 2026

The local hometown hero had a solid night. After starting P5 he methodically worked his way as high as P2 and at one point looked like he had the pace to run down the #18 if the race stayed green. Fredrickson fell to 4th but rebounded back by Taylor Reimer and brought it home P3. Could this race be what he needs to jumpstart his racing career?

Post race interview:

Reporter: Nice solid night for you tonight finishing third in your lone start of the season. How big is that for you?

Ty Fredrickson: Yeah it's awesome, huge thanks to Nitro Motorsports, Toyota Racing and all the local companies that help me come out and do this. Today we unloaded, we weren't really good and every chance we had got Shane Wilson made the car a number better so I just need to do this more often and hopefully I can continue to do these races and get a little better every race.

Reporter: What do you think a performance like that tonight does in getting you more opportunities to do this more often?

Ty Fredrickson: I'll let fate decide that, but yeah just super thankful for this opportunity. It's super fun to come out here and race a race at my home track and got a- got a lot of fans here so it's welcoming.

What happened to ARCA West coverage??

Watching on the NASCAR channel, and instead of it going straight back to the race coverage after commercial break. It cut to cup series San Diego highlights.

We built an alternative to Race Monitor for teams and fans

We’re race engineers ourselves, and we developed it side-by-side with endurance and short track teams after getting frustrated with how much manual work we were doing alongside Race Monitor. The timing data is there - but turning it into usable strategy during a race weekend still meant juggling spreadsheets and mental math.

So we built something to fix our own workflow first.

Now we’re opening the doors for the rest of February to see if it helps others dealing with the same pain points.

We just opened up trial access for TrackLab Pro.

If you’re running Race Monitor-supported events (or just follow them closely), you can use TrackLab alongside it.

This is still early. It’s functional, but we’re actively iterating.

If you’re interested in trying it and giving honest feedback, I’ll drop the link in the comments.

No hard pitch - we’re trying to figure out if this genuinely improves race weekend workflows.

How is the 72 car/Strike Mamba Racing?

I am a believer and fan of Sage Karam. I wish he could land full time in the O'Reilly series. I noticed he is in the 72 this weekend at Sonoma. I am a NASCAR enthusiast but I don't follow ARCA closely, especially West.

How is the 72? What would be considered a good run? I know it really varies a lot in this series.

TIA
