I'd also really appreciate honest feedback on the AX Points amounts and Bitcoin pool system. This is the first version, so I'm interested in hearing what you think and what should be changed.
What's new
- Sign in with Huntbits (optional). The remote works exactly as before without an account. Signing in adds the things below.
- AX Points. You earn them for normal use: opening the app, connecting to your TV, watching IPTV for a few minutes, casting, or setting a sleep timer. Most are once per day, a few are one-time bonuses.
- Bitcoin pools. Your points count toward a running pool. It is not a lottery and nobody "wins": everyone who took part gets a share based on their points when the pool ends.
- Use AX Points for Premium. Spend points on AX Ecosystem days instead of paying (1 day, 7 days, 30 days or a year).
- Invite a friend. You both get AX Points once your friend installs the app and connects it to a TV.
- Premium on your account. The AX Ecosystem subscription follows your account to every phone you sign in on. Lifetime and code unlocks stay tied to the phone they were used on.
What it doesn't do
Button presses, typing, voice search and anything you cast still go only between your phone and your TV over your own Wi-Fi. Signing in only tells the server that a points action happened, never which TV, which channel or what you cast.
There's a new AX Points page in Settings showing how you earn, the pools running now, and what your points can buy.
Feedback on the points amounts is very welcome, since this is the first version.
