Delivery Boy Brutally Assaulted Over a 5-Minute Delay, Dragged Inside Apartment and Beaten!
A shocking incident has come to light at Ganga Heights Apartment in Ganga Nagar, Meerut, under the Bhavanpur police station area. A delivery boy was allegedly brutally assaulted by a customer over a delay of just five minutes in delivering an order.
What happened?
The accused allegedly snatched the delivery boy’s phone and started abusing and assaulting him with kicks and punches after the order was delayed.
The accused allegedly dragged the delivery boy inside his flat and locked him in a room, where he was beaten for around three minutes.
The entire incident was captured on a nearby CCTV camera, and the video has gone viral on social media.
In protest against the incident, a large number of delivery workers gathered and staged a protest outside the police station.
Police Action: Based on the victim’s complaint and the CCTV footage, police have registered an FIR against the accused couple. The accused have reportedly locked their flat and fled. Police teams are searching for them.
