I already kinda spoiled myself with some lore so I KNOW they become enemies late game, but whats their employment status?
Im trying to keep my new job as a Defense Analyst for the GATE Defense Team, but if they also work for GATE that would become a HR issue, no? Am I at any risk of being fired? Because defending myself feels like it's within my job parameters.
Also, is Officer Warren Bunning my supervisor?
I was playing and noticed a small detail in texture for the enhancement bench that felt familiar.
Obviously not the exact same, they might have cut off the texture from the full sized keyboard with a numpad. I thought it was a coincidence till I saw the five dots at the top left.
I honestly think that gatekeepers are such a cool faction and the mistagogo set is cool and i personally love it for the appearance, the thing that bothers me is that it's the only accesible set of the GK (except for jotun back pack) or so i remember, but for one that back pack looks cool but I belive that it needs a buff i find it fun to play using guns and i love the back pack for sniper rifles, but i would really love to use a jotun full set or maybe a witch one, i would love to see what kind of buffs would they give besides when I first started playing with friends we tougth that we would be able to get all sets and where ready to each take a set and end it like full gate keepers,i would really like for this to be an option, but not like a repaint of some armor but each with their own unique buffs, and in a side note I would also love the LMG of the jotun to be in the game, i would use it every day instead of the deatomizer just because it looks cooler imo, I was curious if someone else felt this way and what kind of buffs would you put to each armor?
I recently finished the game and I was left with an odd feeling. I was sort of spoiled about items and upgrades to come, like the ice rifle or ice shotgun, or about the ox lamp.
Thing is, to get those final upgrades you need frozen essence, for that you "need" the ox lamp, so you'd need a thermocell, that's cool and all but by the time I get my hands on a thermocell recipe, its main purpose is making the flamethrower to access fragments... And once I access fragments it's basically a non stop sprint to the finish line. There are no more barriers to progress.
So it feels weird to me like there's these "endgame items" that you basically unlock an hour or so before the final boss. Up until reaching the residence sector I was loving the pacing of the game, it felt like each upgrade to my gear was organic, you would hit a snag to advance the story and it would naturally create downtime to improve your loadout, but not after residence. Anyone else feel the same?
I haven’t played since 1.0 where I beat it, and then haven’t touched it again. Am I missing out on any new groundbreaking content? I got super into the game while I was on leave from work after my daughter was born, I’d play it pretty much every time I’d hold her while my wife was napping and I think abiotic factor actually was a huge help to my relationship ngl because then I looked forward to holding the baby so I could play.
Well I’m taking some more leave soon with some forced pto since I maxed out over the last year and I’m considering getting back into it
