Is this even legal?

Hi! So I was forced to do SL ng project HR for indefinite time dahil they think na I am stressed out pero they also said na I am fit to work naman. Ang side ko naman is normal naman ma stress and I am still doing my 100% sa task ko and hindi naman affected yung performance ko sa work pero they insist na i forced SL ako and ngayon pinoproblema ko na mag nenegative ako sa end month pay dahil I have no credits left na. I raised this concern sa HR pero looks like na wala silang pakialam sa concern ko as an employee. It felt kase na I was being forced to do something na hindi ako nag agree. Is there any way po ba to deal with this? Any advice would be appreciated po.

Absence on first Week

Hello! I will be starting this Monday and I have concern po, will the leads allow me to be absent a one and a half day po from Thursday to Friday morning due to the reason that my grandfather away from our home is ililibing and my lolo on my father side is never ko nakita and nakasama since nung 1yr old pako na bumisita sa province nila. I know this is a bad record sa akin lalo na starting palang ako but this is the first time since before na nagkajob ako na umabsent kasi even before na masama pakiramdam ko pumapasok ako kahit small fever lang pumapasok talaga ako. Ngayon lang to nangyari and unexpected at hindi predicted na mangyari. Please help po and send some advices kasi torn po talaga ako anong dapat gagawin. Thank you po.

Roll off to the current Project or Resign?

Sorry mahaba. Hello, just wanted to get your point of view with regards to my case. So for starter, I was pulled into a Project (Functional) with no actual experience on it together with other team member (Were only 2 at that time). Then I learn and grow from the project and got certified from the role. At first I thought it was normal when I see onshore/offshore team rolled-off from the project every Iteration. As first timer in project, I told my project manager that I have no lead on my capability to guide me and got info that the project budget is tight. So in short, ignored.

My initial thought is we will be on the support side so that's ok even though the process is "figure it out yourself" even though it's hard. My team and I endured it for almost 4 years, due to limited visibility into historical implementations, undocumented dependencies, and business processes, I believe the current setup carries significant operational risk, they expect us to own it and wear multiple hats. One of my team is now resigned and I'm the only pioneer left from the project. I'm so confused now, to the point na di na ako nakakatulog, no piece of mind, to think what would be my future from this project. Current process up till now is sabog sabog talaga, no clear accountability and ownership and I don't want to be a part of that. I'm now scheduled to do a mental health check up.

Later I realized that it's like were being setup for this, I'm overwhelmed with my current situation and high expectations from the Project. Recently I browse outside with my current expertise and sad to say that there is only few opening based on my skillset. It feels like I'm back to square one. Now I'm thinking that I want change and wanted to be rolled off from this project, to hop on a different capability.

I'm currently a CL10. What to do? any advise? I don't want to lose my job as this was my primary source of income but I'm worried that I will lose my sanity on this project. Now I'm actively applying to other company

Accenture Company Merchanise

Most of us already know why Accenture doesn't push employee merchandise compared to companies like Google, Microsoft, or startups.

Former employees said it used to have more visible branded polos and lanyards, but employees allegedly became targets for theft/snatching, especially around salary or bonus periods in places like the Philippines.

Another reason is probably client-facing neutrality.

Unlike consumer tech brands, its mainly a consulting and outsourcing company working with thousands of clients. Employees are often embedded inside client offices or systems. Being overly branded can sometimes clash with the “we represent the client first” culture common in consulting.

There’s also a brand-risk angle:

  • Employees wearing obvious company merch in public can unintentionally associate personal behavior with the company.
  • Consulting firms tend to be more conservative about public identity than lifestyle or product companies.

None the less, employees(even non-employees) are still free to purchase unofficial merchandise found in Shopee or Lazada.

You can also create your own design and have it made somewhere. Anyone/everyone can coordinate and produce their own.

Is it normal to Acce na mabitin sa onboarding?

Accepted the JO from ACN last month, na excite ako kasi pangarap ko noon mag work dito, tho di ito first job ko, I was an experienced employee na. Fast forward, inintroduced na sakin intro sa ACN, then nilipat na ko to on-boarding team. Bale noong una, goods pa since one month daw ung SD, also meron naman lagi disclaimer na possible ma move regarding padin sa docu. Inasikaso ko mga requirements, PEME, etc.

Mejo nagulat lang din ako sa mga requirements na need pero sinubmit ko sila kahit mejo matagal pero pasok padin sa time period. Also, somehow nagka problema ako sa isang docu ko sa former comp ko dahil matagal na and start up comp sya noon, wasn't able to send ung preferred docs nila. pero I submitted ung proof na pwede ko iprovide and explained ung instances ko. I understood na possible un maka apekto sa start date ko. Pero halos mag 3 weeks na ata after non di na gumalaw status ko, "pending" padin. Nagpa follow up din ako, pero alaws reply. Malapit na SD ko pero wala pa sa NJX part status ko, at di parin tapos ung pag validate sa req ko.

Mejo nag o-obertink lang ba ako? na baka ma "bench"? or "bench" na po ba talaga ako dahil di aabot ung requirements? Or di lang ako sanay sa oboarding sa big bpo? Need ko po ba mag resign nalang? pero hassle kasi 30 day notice. Na ppraning na din kasi ako sa mga nababasa kong post. hahaha. Gusto ko parin mag work dito dahil pangarap ko padin also aim ko po para sa skills, I really need to start working na din ulit. nakaka worry lang talaga tong onboarding. Sana po may maka sagot. Do you think Julie Sweet being from a law background instead of a strong technology or engineering background affects the direction of Accenture?

Accenture today is heavily centered around cloud, AI, cybersecurity, infrastructure, and digital transformation. So sometimes I wonder whether a CEO with deeper hands-on technical experience would better understand the realities faced by technical teams and projects.

Do you think a legal/business mindset is enough to run a technology consulting giant, or would the company benefit more from leadership rooted in actual tech delivery and engineering?

Interested to hear thoughts.

May naka experience na po ba ng ganito? Bali after interview ko kasi may verbal JO na and sinabing start and pina complete yung tasks sa work day. It’s been days since na complete ko yun and now hindi maibigay ang contract ko kasi need ko mag exam on site daw for my project. Mettl exam daw yun na need ko ipasa to proceed with my application. The problem is i have no idea kung anong exam yun and di pa ako nag undergo ng bootcamp + nakapag resign na ako sa previous work ko. Terminated me due to attendance and PIP, attendance was due to medical reason and PIp naman is unclear because my TLs Hindi alam na enrolled pala ako sa PIP, na enrolled ako because of my previous TL, Hindi Pinasa sa mga TLs ko ung pip. Ngayon nag pataw na ng final decision si HR, terminated me effective today, pwede ba ako mag apply ng unemployment benefit sa SSS?

What's the most cruel thing na ginawa sayo ng TL mo?

I'm a newbie at that time, after just endorsing the product, I experienced being yelled at and humiliated by my TL. Too much micromanaging, daily verbal abuse, serious insults and bullying. I only lasted a few months and then I gave up. This kind of behavior from TLs in BPO is too normalized. Unprofessional and unethical people.

CL-12 Misaligned Role after HR Offer - Immediate Resign while Shadowing pa

Context:

I was offered an App Dev role by HR, pero lately ko lang nalaman na sa Accenture, once you’re in, your actual role isn’t guaranteed to match the offer. After project interview, na‑lock agad ako sa project, wala man lang akong choice to decline kahit hindi aligned sa App Dev. Yung role ko ngayon ay more on IT Ops/ticketing, which is totally different sa inoffer ni HR na role “App Dev.”

May batchmates din ako na sinabihan during interview na hindi pwede mag‑reject ng project role since App Dev din ang offer ni HR sakanila before makapasok. So bakit pa nag‑ooffer ng App Dev si HR kung in reality, bahala na kung saan ka ilalagay?

Ngayon, stuck ako sa role na IT Ops which is hindi aligned sa in‑offer na App Dev. Very early pa lang naman sa shadowing pero pinapaspas ang usual na one month KT na matapos agad within a week and a few days, sobrang daming info to digest. Kaya I’m seriously considering immediate resignation habang maaga pa. I don’t care kung ma‑tag as non‑rehirable kasi wala na rin akong balak bumalik. Pwede ba mag‑immediate resign kahit wala pa akong actual contribution sa project?

Ano po yung sync up?

First time ko lang po dito sa company and dito lang po ako nakarinig ng mga new terms na di ko usually naririnig sa ibang BPO na napasukan ko, kaya pasensya na po sa tanong. 😅

Nagsend po kasi ng email/schedule ng meeting ang isa naming CLs last Tuesday regarding sync up pero lagi napo-postpone ang meeting. Ang dami po namin naririnig na negative about it kaya nakakatakot. Ano po kaya ibig sabihin ng sync up? Piling employees lang din po ang kasama sa meeting and kada reschedule, nababawasan yung mga kasali. Salamat po.
