Warning about nail tabs + has anyone's allergy "evolved" to other strains?

So I found out I have this allergy last month after half a year of playing around with DIY gel nail kits and getting the gel on my bare skin. I've also never had my nails done at a salon. Had I known that you can develop this allergy, I would've been more careful or just avoided it all together. I'm waiting to get an appointment for a patch test to determine exactly which types or strains of acrylates I'm allergic to, but that's likely going to take a year of waiting (welcome to the Canadian healthcare system). The allergy has presented itself as hives, inflamed cuticles, and itching on my fingertips. The two months before this started, I was experiencing mild onycholysis (which should've been the first warning sign) but attributed that to constantly peeling off the gel and not an allergy.

The gel polish that I was using and had a reaction to contained ethyl acrylate, so that's definitely one out of who knows how many strains. I've been doing some research on the difference between polymers, copolymers, HEMA etc and how copolymers are safer. Since then I've also looked up as many of the labels on my skincare products as well, but that's been challenging since I use a lot of Asian beauty cosmetics that don't readily have the ingredients list. Been fortunate enough so far to not have a reaction to those, retinols, vitamin C, airpods, and all the other everyday items that the unfortunate souls have reported to be allergic to. Now my biggest fear is whether or not I can "become" allergic to these eventually.

I recently wore press-on nails with nail sticky tabs which I've never had a reaction to in the past and were supposedly deemed safe. However, after having them on for 6 hours, removing them, then taking a shower, I noticed my fingers were itching again the same way I'd be reacting to acrylate. The itching lasted for about half a day and definitely not as bad as with the gel. I then reviewed where I bought the tabs from in bulk (Temu) and found out that these ones actually and somehow contained acrylic acid and ethylhexyl acrylate. These are the same standard kinds where you'll receive when buying a set of press-ons from sites like Aliexpress, Shein. I was sooo angry that I might have to even give up press-ons now and was in denial, so I did my own patch test confirmation by sticking a thumbnail-sized nail sticky tab on my ankle skin. I kept it on all day and removed it, and 3 days have passed now with no reaction or redness so now I'm confused over what happened. I suspect that because I washed my hands a few times while wearing those nail sticky tabs along with the press-ons, that might have triggered something as my foot was dry the entire time during the patch test.

I also have strip lash adhesive that I use seldomly that contains Methyl Methacrylate Crosspolymer, Sodium Acrylate Copolymer, Methylacrylate-Acid. I used it last when I was dealing with onycholysis with no reaction which was over a month ago and before I started having more severe symptoms, and am debating on whether I should patch test it again before using it or just toss it out completely.

My main question is, how worried should I be that I can become allergic to other strains of acrylates? Can anyone share their experiences?

Acrylate Copolymer all over my hair and won't come out - should I be worried about having this on me long-term?

I have MCAS so I use fragrance free products but I made the mistake yesterday of using this new bottle my usual of SEEN shampoo and it left a glue-like residue in my hair and on my hands/body that STICKS like crazy and doesn't want to come off. Even when I wash my hands with soap and water several times, I still feel this residue like I have glue on my hands. I think it's the acrylates copolymer in it - they put WAY too much. It's totally my fault for even using it because I used an off-colored bottle of it in January from before they repackaged that did the same thing to my hair and took like 7 washes before coming out. I thought this new bottle might be different but I think it's even worse.

How am I supposed to get this out of my hair? I'm sensitive to topicals and today I woke up with a low grade headache and my face turning pink easily so I know I'm having a histamine reaction. I tried a bit of Dove soap in my hair and that doesn't really do anything. I can't use stuff like baking soda or vinegar. I've just been using my old bottle that still has the same ingredients but not as much of the acrylates copolymer or whatever is causing this - and it's not even a good clarifying shampoo.

Anyone have any tips? I can use micellar water but this stuff is not even coming off my hands!! Every time I rewet my hands they feel tacky and glue-y. I can even feel it on my body when it gets wet.

Does acrylates copolymer dissolve by itself eventually? How long do I have to deal with this nightmare? I know that the acrylate monomers cause allergic reactions in some people - is there a chance of the polymers turning to monomers? Especially as I'm going to have this on me for a long time as I keep trying to wash it out over the next few weeks or so. I'm really anxious.

Fragrance and acrylate-free hair gel (for wavy/curly hair)? Or mousse perhaps?

I know I have a fragrance allergy; right now I'm trying to eliminate acrylates because my skin has been a nightmare. I want to see if it helps! But since I can't do fragrances or essential oils of any kind, my options are already limited. I have loads of hair that needs hold, and most FF gels contain acrylates.

Symptoms: Bumpy and dry hands, red knuckles, peeling nails, significant flushing on my face, chest, and arms right after showering (redness/patchiness lingers but to a lesser degree). Heat sensation on my skin. I only use Vanicream right now, but that would mean my shampoo, gel, and body wash could be potential culprits. But the gel is the hardest one to find. Docs kept saying it's rosacea and sensitive skin, but I legit turn crimson after washing my hair, so something is up.

Yes, I'm going to get patch tested, but I want my skin to clear a bit first before I do that to myself, lol. ;(

Sadly realizing I’m allergic to everyday items

I was helping my brother with his sticker books and got a reaction from the adhesive on the stickers a few weeks ago. Now I realized I’m reacting to vitamin e. I feel like I keep finding things I’m allergic to. Anyone else with acrylate allergies get surprised with something that they didn’t know they were allergic to?

Acrylates in medication?

Does anyone have information about whether acrylates in medications will also cause a reaction? I have gotten unsatisfactory info from my derm who did patch testing and my allergist. I have been on Wellbutrin xl for a long time and would really rather not mess with it but I’m worried about my long-term sensitization :(
