Very Easy Custom Cartoon Firefly

Firefly was very protective of his anonymity on the cartoon, which I guess is why he never wore gloves?

A Tight Squeeze

I struggled for an hour trying to get any male Action Force figure to fit inside this thing. Finally gave up and inserted two femmes. Scarab Trooper on the back trying not to break that flimsy platform he's standing on, probably wondering what's going to happen when those missiles deploy.

(Not a lot of Classified figures will fit inside this, either. I can understand why these only costs $50-$60 now, but it blows my mind people are paying $400+ for VAMPs, which is just as tiny.)

Blackbeard review from a first time Valaverse buyer.

First of all, I don't collect military action figures, so this would be a first if we're not counting Limtoy's Aehab or Figma Snake.

My opinion is based on for the money spent. I won't compare it to Classified because I don't own any.

Aesthetics: I think overall the figure looks pretty good. The sculpt has a lot of details. The paint that is on there are pretty well done. The tattoo for the arm is a very nice touch with very clean details in the graphic which is surprising. The overall body proportion is very well done. It could be less shiny, but for the price this is acceptable. The molding seam line is cleaned up fairly well. The shoulder doesn't have that gap like on other Valaverse figure (which I dislike). The head sculpt is very well done and cleanly printed. The skeleton on the glove is sculpted which is a nice detail as well. The couple issues I have with the aesthetics is the hands look very small, especially when you have the fist on and the knee is beyond ugly when fully bent. How the elbow looks isn't great either.

Articulation: The overall articulation is pretty good for this type of figure (drop down hip, ball peg torsos, ball peg lower neck, boot swivel). You have all the necessary points to get most poses done. There are some parts that can be improved though such as having a ball peg or ball hinge wrist would do wonders for adjusting where you want to point the weapons (it is very hard to get this guy to aim down the pistol). The beard is a hinderance, but that's the design of the character, so I can't really fault that. The boot size given the scale should be perfect for a toe-joint which would benefit walking and kneeling poses. The shoulder I believe Vala said will be updated with new import style for future figures as well which would be a welcome change. The current shoulder is outdated imo.

Accessories: weapons are all ABS plastic, highly detailed and accurate. And comes with lots of it as well as hands. The shemagh is well made and sized. The gun holster on the vest is annoying though, that they keep falling off so I end up gluing them in.

Overall I think for the money this is a very good figure that is a lot of fun if you do collect military figure. The down side is really just the ugly knees and I’m unable to aim down the sight imo.

I also bought Vane that’s not yet shipped.

Behold! My New Valaverse Stuff!

Got my box yesterday. Excited to open them up today and get some poses on. Couldn't get the full slate of releases this time around but I got the ones I really really wanted.

TRASH BAAAAGS!!! I WANT TARASHHH BAAAAAAAGS!!!!

Happy to report that Jester's "New Mythic Legions" smell wears off quickly. The baldric is still sticky, and I bet the entire figure would get REALLY sticky if I were to heat it up, but fortunately the joints are all smooth and the hands are soft enough to splay open when needed.

Blackbeard Has Landed

Got Blackbeard in the mail, and just love how this line is coming out! Got The Black when that was first put up on Valaverse’s website and couldn’t stop coming up with ideas for photos I want to take! Ordered Vane when the Series Six and Black figures went up for preorder, and after receiving him in the mail, turned around and immediately ordered Blackbeard. Now that I have Blackbeard I really need to get two of the Corsairs A and two of the Corsairs B! The Riptide Vehicle and the Jolly Roger 🏴‍☠️ playset will also need to be a pickup once those release! I’ve definitely been enjoying this subline way more than my Action Force figures, and more than probably 95% of all the other toy lines I collect! It’s been fun coming up with stories and ideas for these characters, and I threw a little bit of that into my last photo on this post!

New to Action Force looking for "pointers"

I've known about the line for a while, but there's several figures coming up that have me interested and I want to get, Sam Fisher, Rocketeer, Night Ops Steel Force 2.0. My questions are where to purchase figures? BBTS and the Valaverse website? I went to both and it seems pretty limited whats there do they primarily just have current waves up? Where do I find the lore? I see Action Force Mission Files comics is that' different from Action Force the U.K Joes series? Is there a collected works of those? Appreciate any insight. I realize the figures I'm looking at aren't available yet just wondered where the best site to purchase

is anyone else experiencing weeks of shipping delays on pre-orders? I ordered three figures from the website a week before the release date, June 8th was more than 2 weeks ago so I emailed to valaverse to ask about the delays and this was the response received...
