Yo Joe 4th
Celebrated July 4th by going camping and brought a few Joe's with me. Here's a few random pics I took during my trip. There was a small attempt to tell a story but it didn't really come together.
Crusader knight using the new Blue Shield Soldier parts.
Happy Independence Day
Super 7's USA 250th Reaction+ line against a flag backdrop I found in Hobby Lobby.
Not particularly happy with how Falcon is half-hanging off the end, but I couldn't find a better way to fit the figures, and having just got back in this afternoon from a vacation that started with JoeFest, I don't have the energy to try anymore. I'll revisit this sometime in the future to try better.
Diving straight into the shadows of Gotham. 🦇🏙️
Easily one of my favorite heroes to light in the studio! 🦇 Wanted to go for a heavily cinematic and moody look for Batman, playing with red and blue tones to capture the spread of the fabric cape in this high-angle dive.
Sin and redemption in the dark nights of Hell's Kitchen. 🏙️❌
For this setup with Lego Daredevil, I wanted to lean heavily into the dramatic and contrasting themes that define his lore. I used a striking, bright neon cross in the background to create an intense backlight that wraps around the figure, combined with physical fog at the base for that gritty NYC atmosphere.
