What brand is this?

What brand is this?

Hi! I got this shirt from a friend and I would love to get another one, since I’m really pleased with the fit, but the label is too worn to read. It has a woman doing a vertical split. Based in Canada- thanks so much!

Do we still need more plastic-free or low-plastic activewear brands?

I know there are already a few brands starting to make activewear with more natural fibres and lower-synthetic materials, which is great to see. But honestly, it still feels pretty limited compared to how huge the activewear industry is.

A lot of the options either aren’t very stylish, don’t perform as well for workouts, or are super expensive.

Do you think there’s still a need/demand for more brands in this space? Especially ones that could combine:
lower-plastic materials
flattering/stylish designs
actual workout performance

Or do most people ultimately prioritize performance over the fabric composition?
Genuinely curious how people feel about this.

Always Loved Under Armour But A Little Iffy On Some Of Their New Stuff

A few years ago UA had the best contouring t shirts that sculpted the arms and shoulders really nicely. (not the compression fit that makes you look like your trying wayyyy to hard)

Now for the newest lines is a crop top and....this is really different...plain white and colors t shirts! In Fairness UA still has 1 or 2 of their iconic line but hoping that better items will come out in the fall.

In the meantime what if you don't have the abs like this guy? :)

And I'm paying more for this piece but getting 50% less!

What brand is actually worth buying instead of Lululemon lately?

Lululemon has honestly become way too expensive for me, and I keep hearing people talk about alternatives that supposedly offer similar quality for a lot less money. At this point, I just want honest recommendations from people who actually wear this stuff consistently.

I play tennis and golf a few times a week, and my workouts mainly consist of strength training and some cardio, so material quality matters a lot to me. I need leggings and workout clothes that can withstand constant washing, stay opaque during squats, don't slip around mid-workout, and still feel comfortable enough to wear for hours afterward.

I'm not necessarily looking for the absolute cheapest option either. I just want brands that genuinely feel worth the money. So I'd love to hear what brands you guys consider.

What activewear brands are actually worth buying now?

I’m in my early 30s and honestly starting to feel completely disillusioned with most activewear clothing brands lately. It seems like even the expensive activewear companies are making low-quality stuff now that pills, stretches out, goes see-through, or falls apart after a few months.

I’m trying to rebuild my workout wardrobe and would love recommendations from people who’ve actually found activewear brands that still feel worth the money. I care way more about quality, fit, and durability than influencer hype at this point.

I’m looking for leggings, sports bras, and workout basics that hold up after lots of washes, aren’t paper thin, stay flattering without feeling insanely compressive, don’t constantly slide down during workouts, and actually last longer than one season.

I mostly do strength training, walking, and some Pilates/yoga style workouts if that helps.

What brands still genuinely make good activewear? Bonus points for brands that haven’t completely tanked in quality over the last few years.

cotton or nylon or polyester: what do people ACTUALLY work out in?

so i've been seeing a lot of talk online where both sides are very passionate about how they feel with working out in cotton or nylon/polyester. i'm looking for more workout clothes so is it better to do it in cotton that doesn't stick to you and is less likely to have endocrine disrupters if you're a woman but it stinks or nylon/polyester because there's less of a smell or marks and can be better for rougher workouts??? is big fitness apparel just lobbying to get people to spend more money on workout clothes? does any of it all really matter?

Need recs for gym shorts that won’t show my entire p-ssy print 😭

I need help finding gym shorts that won’t show camel toe OR the entire print, which is my main issue. Shorts / leggings without a front seam seem to make it worse, my entire print is on display 😭😭

I’m desperate for shorts that won’t show this, idc if it’s $100 per pair. So far, the only thing that has helped is to wear black or patterned shorts but I’d love to be able to get cute colors.

I just ordered a pair of camel toe underwear but I am really hoping I get suggestions for gym shorts / leggings that are really good at not showing your entire print

Lululemon sizing and type help

I’ve never owned LLL or tried them on, but wanted to give them a try. I would be wearing for strength workout and cardio, am looking for them to be flexible without slipping down constantly, or ripping easily, and hopefully not roll down either. I also want them to look good so I feel comfortable in them and hold in and shape glute/low tummy area if you know what I mean. If it matters for style type, I’m 5’5” 135lb, prefer full length or capri length is fine too. Which do you think fits the bill and performs well?

Also, can you ‘washer and dryer’ these? And, is it just me, or is it a pain in the ass to have to pull leggings over underwear?! Like wth type do you have to wear so they don’t move at all or show way too much line? lol

While I’m on it, can you also recommend workout tanks (of any brand) with or without built in bra (but not removable pads!) that isn’t too flowy and movable, but is a bit longer than many of the currents, like hips length or so. Doesn’t have to be compressive but can’t be flowy and get caught on things.

Edit: thank you to everyone who commented. All your suggestions have given me a good baseline for what to go with and how to size and type. Ordering a couple from the LLL site ‘made too much’ section and maybe one on Posh. Thanks!!

What do you wish activewear brands paid more attention to?

I feel like activewear brands are focusing so much on aesthetics lately that actual performance is getting lost a bit. I get that its business, i understand it is what sells to the mass. But.... Where are the girls who train HARD? Where are the gym girls who are workin up a sweat in their activewear and not just getting a matcha?

This is why I do like gymshark, even Elite Eleven it's not so exposing but shapes in a confident way. And atleast on gymshark people are actually LIFTING in the clothing ...

What do you wish active brands paid more attention to? Let's talk about it!!

Women’s Bodysuit sizing

If you could give me your two cents: I bought a beyond yoga bodysuit I love. It’s like a one piece with leggings, and a built in bra. I mostly want it for yoga. However, the medium I ordered was tight around my chest with the built-in bra, and it was lower cut than I wanted. I tried doing some yoga poses and my boobs were like falling out. The body part fit great though.

So I exchanged it for a large. It feels like there is extra fabric in the lower belly area. Not a lot, but when I put it on, I’m making sure to pull the crotch area up all the way, and in the waist too. The top part is more comfortable and has the coverage I want.

I’m 5’3” 133 but may lose 5-7 more pounds. But that would take months.
It was kind of expensive, so I’m just trying to be careful. I feel like I’m in between sizes. I love the space dye fabric, so I’d like to stay with this brand. I like the cut too. Any thoughts on how things are supposed to fit?

Is legging bunching behind knees normal?

For the women that wear leggings regularly:

Do you get a little bunching behind the knees after wearing a few times? It seems to happen with the light/moderate compression leggings for Yoga/Pilates .

I always assumed leggings were supposed to stay perfectly smooth, but I notice many pairs start perfectly smooth when new and then eventually develop a little bunching behind the knees over time or not smooth in other areas.

Is this considered normal wear/stretching and does it bother you, or do you not really notice/care?

Beyond Yoga leggings gives me cameltoe...any suggestions? I'm sad they are not working out.

Hi All - I got some Beyond Yoga leggings but they give me HORRIBLE camel toe! Going commando generally makes my camel toe worse on other leggings and I have undewear styles that work on other leggings.

I'm genuinely shocked but they don't feel as nice as I thought they would. I expected a butter feel but they feel more like rough cotton.

Does any one else feel like this? I'm so disappointed b/c I had high expectations for such a popular and expensive brand.

If you have suggestions for other legging brands I should try please let me know.

Seeking Recommendations: Non-Toxic Activewear Brands

Specifically looking for sports bras low and high impact, flare leggings, shorts, sweatpants, and any loose fitting shirts.

I have looked through posts and done a little research online. I haven’t found one brand that somebody had a complete 100% positive experience so I’m just looking for brands that people loved themselves and not just one listed online. I am looking for brands that you can say you had no issues with shipping, where the product arrived and was what was advertised, comfortable for activities ranging from heavy weightlifting all the way to dance, and where the company is a reputable one.

Do sportswear that combines fitness and yoga functions exist?

I teach yoga, a few days a week, but I'm also really into strength training and gym workouts.

After each workout, I do a few yoga sets, but my workout clothes are really unsuitable for yoga, and I have to change clothes every time, which is a hassle.

My current workout tights are very restrictive for yoga, making it difficult to stretch, while yoga tops and leggings are too thin and tend to slip down.

I'm wondering if anyone has found suitable leggings and tops for both yoga and gym workouts?

Open to any recommendations :)
