Im still quite unexperienced with painting so itll take me a bit to get a result im happy with. As a reminder this is obviously inspired by Heat Abnormal featuring Teto and Rei. Although im still not sure about the composition or colors, the black hole in the middle with the eventually transitioning sky and the ground forming and eye is a happy accident i might keep
Before I explain anything, I'd like to pay my SINCEREST apologies for drawing her headset incorrectly. I tried mirroring a reference image of Rei for convenience, which resulted in the slip-up. Again, sorry if it makes the art look worse.
I recently discovered Adachi Rei and liked the way she sounded, which led to me looking up more Adachi Rei music and becoming a sort of fan. She's adorable and I couldn't resist the urge to draw her after my 3-month hiatus! I wanted to draw a mix of her original and newer Vocaloid designs. Besides the fact that I incorrectly drew her headset, I'm quite satisfied with how this turned out. Instead of grabbing a posing model and tracing it, I practised anatomy and sketched the pose all by myself. I also drew the air flow and light source (which aren't visible in the final render) to get more accurate lighting and hair movement.
Choosing a background and VFX was quite hard, but I eventually settled on a dreamy sky and atmosphere.
I hope you all like it as much as I enjoyed making it!

When I listened heat abnormal I genuinely loved her voice. Then I listened another songs like my bread was burnt to a crisp, gimmick girl. But I'm fairly new to Adachi Rei. And I want to discover more Rei songs. Could you guys recommend me several songs?
Hi everyone, about a year ago, missile39 posted digital version of Adachi Rei Development Log in high quality on Pixiv, but the moderation deleted it after about 12 hours because it contained photos, which aren't allowed on the platform. So, does anyone have an archive of it, or know where to find it?
Okay, I'm having a lot of fun doing...this. I am not the one to make some sort of a quality work, but this sure is different from most stuff I hear. And I solemnly swear this is enjoyable.

Apparently voice layering is not as much reliable as I would hope it to be, I guess this is because of phase difference, like, constructive and destructive interference etc. Also, I like the vibe from the result a lot, image looks like scholars, lyrics look like something out of scholar.
For some reason I enjoy 'sharp' UTAU sound much more than modern silky smooth vocaloid\synthv stuff.
