[Crosspost] Hi r/movies! I'm Joshua Bailey, director of Stolen Kingdom - a Disney heist documentary about urban exploring, scandal, and theft at the Disney parks, ultimately leading to the heist of an animatronic. AMA!

I organized an AMA/Q&A with filmmaker and screenwriter Joshua Bailey. His new documentary Stolen Kingdom received critical acclaim and has been playing the film festival circuit for about a year. It's about urban exploration and ultimately a heist at Disney World.

It's live here now in r/movies for anyone interested in asking a question:

He will be back at 3 PM ET tomorrow (Thursday 8/20) to answer questions. I recommend asking in advance. Please ask there, not here. All questions are much appreciated!

Trailer: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TVNkxUxhqh0

Synopsis: The history of misdeeds and debauchery at Walt Disney World Resort over 30 years, which leads to the theft of almost half a million dollars worth of stolen props.

Thank you :)

The irony of his death

If Adam had survived, lets say mild heart attack at Disney or a public place where he could have gotten immediate help. Or went to the hospital with chest pains. All hypothetical, this could have been a sudden widow maker, and no real chance of survival.

Can you imagine if he survived. This is a person that blogged everyday, was VERY honest about everything, and once committed usually followed through (even if for a short time).

I feel he would have gotten in really good shape with a nutritionist and drs help.

But heres the ironic part. He would have used his platform to save 1000s. I am sure his walk and talks would have been about going to the dr, what tests to have done, taking care of yourself. I have felt since it happened, that if hed lived he could have saved so many viewers that are destined to follow.

Sure it woke some up for a few days after his death, including his fellow vloggers.. but are they still following through or did they go back to their old ways. I think he would have shifted his focus, still did disney and road trips but a lot of his content would have been about living longer, and taking care of yourself.

I think he would have seen it as a sign and that he had a mission.

Posts regarding Adam's health and death

We agree. Adam made some bad choices regarding his health. It is a terrible loss for his family and friends, and a loss to the online community with the content and impact Adam made across the world. It's a good lesson in making responsible life choices regarding health and taking care of ourselves.

However, the constant posting about Adam's health and personal choices need to stop. They are becoming a regular occurrence at a time when what caused his death is already widely known and can easily be searched out, even in this subreddit.

This community is about discussing Adam's content, celebrating his life, and the impact he made for all of us. Discussing his health all the time does not fit the mission here.

Going forward, any posts about Adam's health and cause of death will be automatically blocked and subject to moderator approvals. Let's get back to celebrating what Adam did for all of us and enjoying discussing his content.

Walk and Talk

Has anyone seen a fan made playlist of Adam's walk and talk videos? Those are my favorite, when he's just kind of rambling sharing his thoughts or talking about his earlier years.

The corded mic videos

I forgot at one point, Adam had experimented with using a corded mic, connected to his camera when filming with a friend. It didn't sound the best compared to when he just held the camera, IMO.

IIRC he didn't use it much and eventually abandoned it after just a few videos. I don't think he ever used it in the DailyWoo channel.
